Wasn't the Yildirim a mandatory? I'd rather see him against noteworthy opponents than guys like Parker and Yerbossynuly.

Plant should just give him the belt. Don’t need to see another ass whipping.
Im actually hoping Canelo will fight the Charlo’s. Both the same day preferably. He needs a little challenge.

I like Plant’s chances against Canelo. Canelo can easily be outboxed, the key is you got to withstand his counter shots. We acting like Canelo is God, Caleb’s got a better chance than Saunders.

If anyone at 168 was gonna beat Canelo it was BJS. At this point the best bet to beat Canelo is GGG since he's given Canelo two close fights already despite he's advanced age. I don't see Caleb doing well vs Canelo.

            joe calzaghe was undisputed.
when joe calzaghe fought kessler he was the ibf/wbo/ring champion and he beat kessler for his wba and wbc belts.
Wrong, Calzaghe was called undisputed by some (Brits) but was never the Undisputed champion, Bute was the IBF champ. Look it up, it's on Wikipedia and other outlets. He vacated the IBF title before the Kessler fight, that fight was for the WBO, WBA, WBC straps, Bute held the IBF title in 2007 when that fight took place, Calzaghe vacated the IBF title to fight Manfredo in 2006.

Number one, Canelo will be looking to break Plant's ribs and face. Not his chin.

Number two, Canelo grew up poor also. And being poor in the US is a cakewalk compared to being poor in a place like Mexico.

Plant just went life and death against Traux, but he's going to beat Canelo, okay....

Yes, Yildirim was somehow a mandatory for the WBC belt. Please don't muddy the discussion with facts though!

                      IKR.

Within a few paragraphs we first have this:

Plant defended his belt for the third time following a 12-round shutout over Caleb Plant this past January, since fully recovering from a hand injury suffered in the fight.

                      Followed closely by this:

“You can’t break a poor boy’s chin, that’s warrior’s code,” Planted noted via social media after the win. “There are things I fear but I put it on my last breath and soul that men aren’t one of them.”
