Comments Thread For: Hearn: It Was a Great Performance By Saunders, He Came To Win

Eddie Hearn, promoter for two division champion Billy Joe Saunders, says the boxer sustained a 'busted eye socket' during his stoppage loss to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. On Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Canelo stopped Saunders in eight rounds to unify the WBO, WBC, WBA super middleweight titles.

What bit do you disagree with?

Or did you just read "Hearn" and engage autopilot?

It was a very impressive win in the end for Canelo. Usually he and his trainer do not make specific predictions, but for this fight they did. He backed up the talk, within eight to ten rounds tko.

Saunders suffers his first defeat; and after such damage to the eye socket, retirement may be near, but he has surely made enough money. Maybe Caleb Plant goes the distance, but I don't think he beats Canelo either.

saunders was the closest to win vs roidnelo since ggg beat him the first time, can't deny that.
freak injurie because of these shady ass renoyso boxing gloves, which are even worse than the the typical mexican punchers glove plus a roided to the grillz gingerboy.
i dont like that gypsy bum but neither do i like mr. gift decisions roidnelo.

Billy Joe fought a good, and even brave fight against a power monster, which is what Canelo has become.
