I don't either. I even defended Sanders because of people calling him a quitter. I just don't like that term in boxing when a fighter is injured. But after reading what Sander's said previously I have no sympathy for him.

But he did quit. I mean, literally.

      It happens.

He quit with a legitimate reason. He didn't quit just to be quitting. The fight was stopped.

His arms and legs still functioned and he had another eye.

We've all seen worse injuries and guys kept fighting.

Like I said, I have no sympathy for Sander's but that doesn't change my opinion about fighters that can't continue because of injuries.

lmao. I'm not a big fan of Canelo but I'll happily give him props for doling out this dose of karma. Good to see BJS finally get his long-due comeuppance

His corner stopped it. I don't think Saunders said stop the fight, I quit.

To be fair to BJ, Dubois actually dropped to the ground (off a jab thrown by a guy who is unlikely to ever win a significant belt) and watched the ref count him out. After a vicious uppercut, BJ ran away from and groped Canelo (most likely #1 p4p) until the end of the round where his trainer allegedly called off the fight. Sizable difference IMO. It's still funny that the same injury he was slagging on another boxer about ended the biggest fight of his career. Then again it's not like he was going to win anyways. Crooked judges plus raging Mexican beef beating the crap out of him equals zero chance for the tallywacker...
