As soon as he hit him his eye turned blue and almost shut. You could tell it was wrecked. Canelo knew he broke his face too. BJS is not a quitter, you cannot continue with that injury, your sight is at risk. Good effort from him.

In order, to save face they are calling it a broken orbital bone. Unfortunately, not many boxing fans are going to feel sorry for him though because he is such a **** in real life.Comment

Def broken orbital...his R face was collapsed between rounds. With 4 rounds to go cant continueThat's what they're saying. If this is true, I'll give BJS a pass. That's a bad injury and if he did break his orbital bone, that's probably the best win for Canelo since he did it against a style that he never did well against. I'll give him his credit for that.Comment

The announcing team was ***ing ******ed. it looked like it might have been broken. They never mentioned this in all their pontification. It was canelo who said in the interview he thought he broke his cheekbone. Has the announcement team never saw this before this injury is pretty common and the way it was swole up and cut looked similar to past orbital bone breaks. Most other fighters atleast went on another round but BJS didnt have the heart when he saw how pumped up Canelo was and quit on his stool.Comment
