I have given Hunter the benefit of the doubt. I said he would only fight Hrgovic if there was title implications on the line. Well an IBF eliminator meets that criteria. I guess some here were right. It looks like a clear duck to me now. He was slated to get the larger percentage of the purse. Unless he is getting a title shot or a bigger fight I don’t see how it can be called anything else but a duck.

Hunter already ducked Hrgovic when he left Dazn by signing a 3 fight deal against nobodies not even in the top 100 when the fight was proposed to him last yr, Hrgovic has been telling everyone it was a a social media stunt on the part of Hunter who’s been calling him out . He was right ,I told you guys , he was offered the fight while under Matchroom contract as well .

Well you were right all along by the looks of it. I gave Hunter the benefit of the doubt. I said he would only fight him if there was title implications involved. An IBF eliminator is exactly that & he withdrew. He will give up his IBF ranking now. I find that kind of strange. He is with Top Rank I guess so let's see what kind of fight he gets. Looks like a clear duck to me now. Kudos to you as from the very start you have been saying this. I forgot there was only one bid for that fight & it was a good payday for Hunter. $364000 I think would have been his biggest payday. Even a loss to Hrgovic doesn't drop him out of contention. He could easily get back in the mix with a good win or 2. I wonder what Uncle Bob has planned for him now? Charles Martin already passed on the fight & let's see if Parker takes it. It is starting to look like nobody wants to fight him. If Ortiz wants a title shot he would be smart to take it. It would be his last chance. Kabayel, Yoka, Ortiz & Pulev I believe are the next 4 after Parker. Would Yoka really fight Hubeaux over an IBF eliminator? Ortiz claims to be the boogeyman but it looks more like Hrgovic is the boogeyman to me. YOU WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG! KUDOS FOR YOU PROVING YOUR CLAIM WAS IN FACT THE TRUTH. I never thought for one minute it was a duck. I just figured unless a title shot was on the horizon it would be a waste of time but there was a shot & he declined.

yeah right. Why yall are so surprised, i dont know. Boxing is full of these types of moves. Call it a duck or whatever else you want but THIS IS THE BIZ OF BOXING. All your fav fighters are moving like this. I love a good matchup but most times boxing is complete trash.

All these rankings are crap and they seem to make up the rules as they see fit and depending on the promotion, boxing is a joke and the major players are saddening as well!

The only way Hunter can get a pass on this is if his next fight is for more money or against a better opponent.

I am very disappointed. Actually I felt like Hunter was a favorite in this match up. But I guess he never really believed he could beat Hrgovic.

I hope they can find another high ranked opponent. Otherwise, Hrgovic should be promoted to IBF mandatory.

i wouldnt fight that fight for 360k either. hearn must have said take the peanuts or leave it and he left it. Parker is a bum now i dont see any heat on that fight.
