Maidana and JLC proved themselves with the rematches

with both winning 3 to 4 rounds each in the rematch. Very good amount of rounds to win vs Floyd

I think ATG pressure fighters Armstrong and Duran could beat Floyd without a size advantage

Nailed it. Prime for prime nelo never wins. People keep saying "canelos improved since fighting froid and lara" and im like wtf evidence is there? He was losing to khan before the inevitable ko and he got a gift draw against golovkin a style made for ginger yet he still lost and since then all hes fought are stationary targets

He wasn’t an old man but he was well past his prime at age 36.

Floyd’s prime was from Ndou to Marquez

Floyd was closer to his prime than Canelo was. He also was a very well preserved and protected 36, not even close to shopworn.

Possibly they could get the win I doubt Floyd would stand in a phone box I think he would box like a ghost for the entire fight, pressure fighters are not pressure fighters if they cant get to you, love to see it but I wouldn't be betting real money on who wins .

I still think Floyd gives him fits due to styles
Canelo is coming off his best ever performances NOW not circa 2014-2015. This version of Canelo is prime. We'll see tmrw how much he's improved against moving counter punchers

Billy is not 1/2 what Floyd was, I agree Canelo is better now as in seasoned his technique and style is the same he has just matured, Floyd is just too quick for Canelos style he would be chasing a ghost all night, today's Canelo say he was a WW would be schooled by lets say the Hatton Floyd just the same.
