youre not really a boxing fan. Even if you cited fights you grew up, acknowledging what fighters did past, none of that is paralleled to one scorecard dude… how many times did LaMotta and SRR run it back? Leonard vs Duran, how many times?

Boxing is based on damage. Falling back on ONE scorecard is a copout for your love to GGG
I made statement about the first fight between Canelo and GGG and you want to change the subject!

Lol. Changing the subject? Look your post… look at the thread title…they fought twice doe. One scorecard doe. If Byrd had it a DRAW it’s still be a Draw.

He is. Lil G is old and slow. Pretty much the usual punching bag opponent except that he can take a punch. You know good and dam well that's true. If you are a knowledgeable fan of the sport then can't be that ****** to think not.

Canelo fought a good fight and so did Kovalev but Sergei gassed. I had bet Kovalev UD and hedged it with Canelo TKO 9-12.

Canelo beating Kovalev was a much better fruit than Szermeta or anyone GGG has fought since Canelo 2
I’m not comparing it to anyone ggg fought, I’m comparing the Kovalev canelo fought to the Kovalev we all knew was dangerous, and it was not even close to the same guy. He was already knocked out in back to back years, was early stopped by Yarde who’s basically a novice and had to jump immediately into another training camp to fight canelo just 10 weeks later at 36 years old. On the other hand, canelo who was still in his 20s was coming off a 6 month break. Kovalev was clearly compromised and that’s the only reason canelo took the fight. His immediate dropping of the belt and statement that he’ll never go back to that weight class only proves that he saw that title as low hanging fruit.

Well said. People always say "Canelo cherry picled Kovalev. Why didn't he face Bivol or Artur?" But the truth is, Kovalev was the much more deserving and dangerous fighter after his wins over Alvarez and Yarde. Bivol or Artur had beaten obviously no one at the time.

Why can't Joshua make welterweight in his 20s but Mayweather did it in his 30s? LOL Canelo haters really look for any reason to hate.

Gave me a chuckle. I would consider myself a fan of boxing, but im a fairly new fan. Only been following the sport actively since Wilder won his world title. Before that I only watched Robert Helenius' fights (A finnish fighter, also not very known but you may know him from his KO loss to Washington and his KO win over Adam Kownacki)
But I had to legit look up this Esquiva Falcao guy, why is triple G fighting these no names? I realize one of them was the mandatory but this isn't... come on now. Fight someone proper instead of waiting for the Canelo payday

He has most certainly looked worse. His decline has been commented on a LOT in his last 3 or so fights.
