are you trying to act like canelo faced a prime and dangerous Kovalev? He fought an old washed up alcoholic who was 3-3 in his last 6 and was fighting for the second time in 10 weeks. That was a low hanging fruit title grab.

Why can't canelo make 160 at 30 yrs old but GGG can make it at 40?

Canelo moved up 2 weight classes and stopped the same Kovalev that just beat undefeated Eleider Alvarez in a rematch and STOPPED undefeated Yarde. Those were good wins for Kovalev.

Canelo fought a good fight and so did Kovalev but Sergei gassed. I had bet Kovalev UD and hedged it with Canelo TKO 9-12.

Canelo beating Kovalev was a much better fruit than Szermeta or anyone GGG has fought since Canelo 2

Just remember the 1st fight was a win for GGG split draw my arse.

Judge Adalaide Byrd's scorecard of 118–110 in favor of Álvarez was complete BS.. Many fans including me, felt that Golovkin had won a close fight. But truth be told a draw was justifiable, but Adalaide Byrd's card that widely favored Álvarez was inexcusable. Nevertheless, Bob Bennett, director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission , said that he had full confidence in Byrd going forward. So the fix was in. GGG is 39 is the diva waiting until he's a senior citizen?

LOL fan boys think Kov was a great fight!

How do you cherry-pick a guy you fought twice? That’s the same strawman argument Filipino use by saying Floyd was afraid of renatching a guy he clearly beat.
And I’m saying this as someone who thought Canelo lost the 1st fight.

GGG diehards in this thread…lol… bringing up tinfoil theory even after Alvarez fought him twice.. they’ll detract to 2015 days when not acknowledging that IF GGG WANTS Canelo’s belts NOW, if he wants Canelo in general, he knows where he needs to go. GGG is draining at 160 still ffs. Said “168 is easy” and Abel had said he’d fight even at 175. Jacobs is even open to 175 with Smith Jr.

yet Canelo haters now calling GGG a cherry pick. It’s without a doubt that GGG fans are genuinely h0m0seuxals. They followed that guy the same was deathofaclown poster makes threads about sausage… lol

these boxing fans are weird. Without a doubt GGG diehards in the thread are in their 60’s. It’s the unfortunate reason why most child sex offenders are old men..

So you stand with Judge Adalaide Byrd's scorecard of 118–110 in favor of Álvarez?

What does any of that have to do with a rematch, imposed different style, or the FACT that there’s open invitation for GGG at 168?

youre not really a boxing fan. Even if you cited fights you grew up, acknowledging what fighters did past, none of that is paralleled to one scorecard dude… how many times did LaMotta and SRR run it back? Leonard vs Duran, how many times?

Boxing is based on damage. Falling back on ONE scorecard is a copout for your love to GGG

Golovkin - "168 is easy", 10 years later still draining to fight bums at 160.

Still a great fight as people are still arguing now as to who is the better fighter as they were pick um fights. Canelo has his work cut out tonight though as I think BJ will push him all the way and give him nightmares along the way in another close one.
