No real desire to see this fight. I thought GGG won the first and Canelo edged the second but they were essentially equal to each other then. Golovkin is old now, Canelo still in his prime.

refusing to fight someone only to fight them years later when they are older is the definition of cherry picking.

Canelo fought Kovalev in December, 2019 - a more dangerous opponent than GGG

Canelo offered GGG 3rd fight in December, 2020 - GGG refused saying he wanted to fight his mandatory (Szermeta)

Canelo carried on with his career in a meaningful way and GGG went back to fighting club fighters. GGG never recovered from the Canelo loss or physical beating he got in the rematch
