No real desire to see this fight. I thought GGG won the first and Canelo edged the second but they were essentially equal to each other then. Golovkin is old now, Canelo still in his prime.

What is interesting is as far as I understood his original 11 fight mega-deal he signed with DAZN implied or at least there was an expectation that all things being equal Canelo would fight GGG in a third fight. ) Not forgetting how long GGG had to wait for the second fight - partly a result of his obsession with and dirty taste in his mouth after the draw in their first fight.
'Alvarez signed a five-year, 11-fight deal worth a minimum of $365 million with DAZN, which only launched in the United States in September.
It will commence with his move up to super-middleweight to challenge secondary world titlist, Rocky Fielding, on Dec. 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York, where they will meet face-to-face at the kickoff news conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Alvarez's deal is the richest athlete contract in sports history, eclipsing the 13-year, $325 million agreement that New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton signed in 2014 when he was with the Miami Marlins.

Golovkin also signed a major deal with DAZN around the same time: 'Golovkin agreed to a six-fight deal with DAZN in March 2018. Each fight is guaranteed in eight figures -His first fight on the platform was against Steve Rolls in June, meaning he will have four more fights on DAZN following his matchup against Derevyanchenko.'- 4 Nov 2020 (DAZN, US. NEWS)
'Golovkin, who fought Alvarez to a disputed decision loss in their all-action rematch last September, is expected to make his DAZN debut in June before seeking a big-money trilogy bout against Alvarez this fall (should the Mexican star defeat fellow Daniel Jacobs in their May 4 unification bout).' One thing about Canelo, he is definitely above the norm on the activity scale. And if he fights Plant in the fall...Busy fighter

This blogger, Keith Idec, is a dick sucking pansy.
GGG turned down December, 2020 fight so he could fight Szermeta (who) but Idec conveniently doesnt mention that.
Joke slander piece by a wannabe hack TMZ paparazzi blogger. GTFOH

No Need! Nobody care about GGG anymore not even those Eastern European Groupies who all went silent and disappeared ESPECIALLY after Teofimo beat Loma I notice
I respect GGG but he is not doing anything and has ZERO interest in fighting Andrade or Charlo at 160 to unify and they couldn't even make the Munguia fight. He just not as relevant anymore especially without HBO pushing him and Lampley crying over him
Canelo beat down a 40 year old at 168, he will get ZERO Credit for it so why bother now?! Waste of Time!#1PaperChamp likes this.

Canelo carried on with his career in a meaningful way and GGG went back to fighting club fighters. GGG never recovered from the Canelo loss or physical beating he got in the rematch
