Marquez won, but Barrera stole a few rounds. Would have been closer had Barrera not hit JMM while he was down.

The only reason Barrera hit Marquez while he was down is because he was confused as to why it wasn't scored a knockdown in the first place. It's probably instinct to punch a guy until the ref starts counting. Maybe in the moment he thought Marquez was doing a Pernell crouch or something. If the ref stepped in when he should have, it's a 10-8 round for Barrera (it's almost ALWAYS 10-8 if your score a KD no matter what happens the rest of the round).

JMM is so fucking overrated. I can't wait to see Mayweather humiliate him.

Not unless you get deducted a point.

If they would have counted the knockdown Marquez still would have won the round 10-8

he dominated that round, got dropped, and then came the point deduction.

still a 10-8 round for marquez.

werent you saying the same **** before Marquez ko juan diaz?

How bad do you think floyd is going to humilate marquez?

Pac vs Marco II bad (which was a wipeout) or Pac vs Marco I bad (which was a wipeout and a beatdown)

It probably wont be smiliar to either Pac vs Marco fight because Marquez comes to fight (Pac vs Marco II Dig) and does not resort to fouling when **** is not going his way (Pac vs Marco I Dig).

So from a 10-8 round for him he made it 10-8 for Marquez.

                  Terrible decision.
That would not have been a 10-8 round for Barerra anyways. That round was a1 sided ass kicking untill the KD so the most it would have been is 10-9 for barerra if not 9-9, since it would have probably been a 10-8 for Marquez.

The point deduction would have never happened if the ref did his job correctly. Barrera wouldn't have hit Marquez again if the ref stepped in and administered the count.

Marquez was dominating the round, but how often are rounds scored 10-8 without a knockdown? Almost never. It happens on a Lederman card from time to time, but on real scorecards it is extremely rare. It was a 10-9 Marquez round before the knockdown, which would have turned to 10-8 Barrera after the KD if no point was deducted.

How do you figure that Marco would have not hit him?

As soon as marquez went down Marco sucker punch him. Nady hustled over their to try to stop marco but got there to late.

                      fast forward to 4:45 mark

watch marco drop Marquez and then sucker punch him.

Its not like Marco knew Nady did not rule it a knockdown because he turned his back to Nady right after Marquez got dropped. And stoop over Marquez for 3 seconds before he decked him.
