I just watched this very good fight over again, in entirety scoring it round by round. I had it eight rounds to four for Marquez with him winning rounds 1 3 4 5 7 10 11 and 12 with Barerra winning rounds 2 6 8 and 9. Going by the bogus referee ruling that there was no knockdown and with the point deduction, I had it 116-111 for JMM, Without the referee mistake the 7th round would have been 10-9 Barerra, since it was a one sided ass whupping befoe the flash KD, so it should have been 115-112 for Marquez. Excellent fight, Barerra was really on his game and looked sharp as ever in it....

So what did you guys think of the fight, and who did you have winning.

To be honest i thought JMM was clear winner but i know Marco could of beaten him and probably would of done if he had not fought so passively thinking he was ahead.

I was going nuts at the time saying WTF are you doing Boxing like you have the fight sewn up.

I don't see what that has to do with anything.

He was throwing a punch at a guy that was on the floor. JMM was down for at least 2 seconds before Barrera decided to throw the punch.

Wouldn't have made a difference at that point. JMM was on his way to a 10-8 round, so even if you give Barrera a point its a 10-9 round.

But even then, Barrera ***s himself by being his usual cheating ass by hitting JMM in premeditated fashion while on the floor.

Thus taking away the point he wouldve gotten anyhow.

He's lucky he didn't get DQ'd for that cheap shot.

So if you include the knockdown the round scored would have been 10-9 for marquez but if you include the knockdown dont forget to include the point deduction

People keep talking about how the knockdown should have been counted and that would have made a big difference but they always seem to exclude the fact that marco was deducted right after the knock down.
