6 years ago I mean. Big Charlo won his belt fall of 2015, and then Canelo chose to fight Khan and Liam Smith instead. Little Charlo won it the next year.
Andrade already was a champ and even went on youtube and called Canelo a ***** and a hoe to try and get a fight with him. But again he fought James Kirkland instead.Comment

Let's be real it was just a quick question in the interview, Bud aint no racist, he has a very diverse corner, is respectful to all his fans, and has the full love and support of everyone in the City of Omaha, black, brown, white, asian, latino, Native American, American Indian, everyone.
What he really meant to say was that Canelo doesn't want to fight Andrade or the Charlo brothers which is a fact, he's been avoiding them for almost 8 years.Comment

He avoided both Charlo brothers at 154, went up to 160, Big Charlo went up to 160 to chase Canelo, and then Canelo ran to 168. Who is to blame here??
He could have fought a real champion at 154 but instead he chose to fight James Kirkland, Amir Khan and Liam Smith. Think about that.Last edited by damned1974; 05-06-2021, 12:00 PM.Comment

Didn't Benavidez call him some slur before he said that? They were in the heat of the moment and he was responding to some diss. I don't excuse that behavior but it's not the same thing as like when Floyd said that **** about Manny or Kovalev with Adonis..Comment

In the Army and in law enforcement careers, over the decades, you would constantly hear the phrase “the path of least resistance” when referring to clearing structures particular with either movement to contact or active shooter incidents (same premise.) Canelo is taking the path of least resistance to the end of his career and being one of the wealthiest boxers ever.Comment

Seems that way, he is definitely a talented fighter and one of the best in the sport, but since his loss to Lara him and his team have carefully handpicked opponents at the right time to make him look as good as possible, somehow miraculously gets the benefit of the doubt in every close fight, and you're not allowed to call that out? I don't mind most but there's this one guy on here who was really bad, but he got banned for making some racial slur at another guy.Comment
