Y'all Caneo fans lose the right to say "But who has Andrade, Charlo fought" when Canelo picks opponents like Kirkland, Liam Smith, Fielding, Khan, alcoholic fat Kovalev, Chavez
and please answer me...since you switched from 8 years ago, to 6 years ago...who were Charlos fighting????!!! Who did they fight at that time to even get a shot at a title let alone a Canelo fight? NOBODY was calling for a Canelo/Charlo fight 6 years ago...not even you!

Canelo Alvarez has moved up in divisions several times, but is comfortably fighting at 168. This Saturday, he fights Billy Jo Saunders. Now, BJS is in no one's top 10. I would venture not even close. He is, however, a respected boxer in any fair minded experts opinion. Now, he is a huge dog against the heavily favored Canelo, and no one except his fellow British stable mates think he has a chance.

And you know what? He instantly gives Alvarez a better opponent in less than 2 years campaigning at 164 than Crawford has had in his 4 years at 147. It is not even close. I recognize Crawford may not be at fault, but it changes the facts not even a little. Alvarez deserves to be #1 at this point over Crawford and I cannot see a valid argument for Crawford except "because I said so".
100% agree with you here. Look, I met Crawford at the Pac/May weigh ins. He is a chill guy. Bo-Mac was a very nice guy. I'm sure when doing the eye test, Crawford is P4P but at some point it needs to be proven literally, not just in fantasy match ups. Canelo is the most proven imo.

In context...Crawford was implying that Canelo doesn't fight a lot of slick complete fighters that are very often Black. That said first on your list is Lara but he's actually Cubin. White people think he's black because they often lump everyone dark skined into one group. Trout is a mid level fighter with one good win over a faded Cotto. Kirkland is a punching bag that gets KOed by every top 10 JR middle and Middle weight. But hey, they do have dark skin so I'll give you that. Since we are being honest it should be said that both times Canelo actually fought a prime, complete, sharp fighter ( that happen to be black) he had problems.... and hasn't fought another since.

As for Crarford's competition... Keith and Garcia demanded 10 million, Manny wants 40 and Spence doesn't want the fight at any price. Just sayn, you can't force an opponent to into the ring that doesn't want to fight.
Thinking one's nationality has anything to do with their race is absolute ignorance. Anthony Joshua is English but he is still black. Landy is Cuban but he is still black and Hispanic (culture) as well.

It’s just an insane thing to say.akes
you really question Western education.....but the old “divide and conquer” is the strength by which the British Empire dominated much of the world....that little island built its wealth and global influence off of dividing people and pitting them against each other. Anywhere the English have gone that’s the MO....just ask the Scottish clans circa 1300CE about that tactic

Let's be honest-Crawford avoids all top fighters.
Bro all those fights happened like 7 years ago and with the exception of Kirkland they all made canelo look bad. People like you will excuse him avoiding charlo and Andrade but ignore the Rocky fielding-yildirim fights

True. So many ignorant people. And having dark skin does not make you Black either. Itīs other physical characteristics.

Not a bad list at all. Crawford tops my list but Bob needs to get him some legacy fights before he slips.
