Andrade didnt even look good against that Brit brawler. He needs to fight GGG or Charlo to get in there with Canelo. No one is ducking this corny dude.

Who did Rocky Fielding and Yildrim fight that made them so worthy? Canelo knows that he can't beat the guy or if he can beat him it will be close. If Charlo fights Benevidez--I guarantee Canelo will fight the loser of that fight especially if they get knocked out or looks really bad. When you are supposedly the best you have to prove it.

If you have been watching boxing for a while, you should know very well that Canelo will not get much credit for beating Andrade due to Andrade having fought no one of note in his career at 32. He does not even look spectacular vs the lower level opponents he fights. No journalist or fan will ever list Andrade as a great win for Canelo. But the same fans/writers would make noise, scream at the top of their lungs for it, say Canelo is ducking. Then after Canelo wins they will say “big deal...fight this guy now”.

Admittedly, i’d be one of those fans saying the win isn’t a big deal and it doesn’t rank very high because Andrade is not elite and hasn’t fought anyone. But unlike others, i’m saying that even before the fight happens.

they are both more relevant at 168, we dont even know if andrade can take a punch at the weight..

Those are the fights that us boxing fans need to see. All of the names he mentioned are undefeated. He needs to step up now and fight a live dog. All Canelo has been doing since the last Golovkin bout is cherry picking and that's been more than three years ago since he signed with DAZN.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter though because Andrade is yet still undefeated.

it seems to me that Canelo is avoiding the big punchers. We all know that Charlo and Benavidez are big punchers but Saunders and Caleb Plant are not. He knows that Charlo and Benavidez would hit him but Plant and Saunders would not. They would just be content on running away from him. Those are the type of fighters that he likes to fight.

I think Canelo can move up to HW to fight, and people would still say he is ducking. If he fights the names he is dropping over the next couple years I see no way anyone can accuse him of avoiding anyone.

If Canelo is cherrypicking what do you call what everybody else is doing?

Jermall Charlo is fighting Montiel next FFS.
