    A Word on Arreola

Before last night I didn’t want to see old ass Arreola fight anymore. After last night, he impressed me. I would watch him fight again. He showed commitment to the sport to lose all that weight. Respect.

He looked good, the best I have seen him look but I couldn't for the life of me understand why he deviated away from what was giving him so much success.
He started playing right into Ruiz's hands by coming forward so I switched it over as it became highly predictable with how it was going.

I went from being impressed to feeling rather disappointed.

the only problem I have with Arreola is that he has to be the dumbest boxer out there and doesn't know when he has the other boxer ready to loose.

He could have won yesterday, instead he became a shell.

I’m a longtime fan of Chris; while he was in the best shape of his career, he only had four rounds in him. He’s too long in the tooth for a 12 round heavyweight fight. His punches had nothing on them after about the halfway point.

If he can get one more payday, great, but he needs to retire soon. This is a young mans game.

He had success because of the gameplan and he let the win slip away because of it. Goosen said his plan was to close the gap and pile it on late, but when they got there Ruiz had adjusted and the 40 year old Arreola found the tank empty when he stepped on the gas.

Reminded me of Klitschko-Joshua. Had the man ready to go but was too careful.

Arreola didn't throw after the third round.

However, I'd pay for him to continue his career until he's 60, if only to keep hearing his post-fight interviews.

                    Lol.
He definitely didn't hold back on what he thought of the judges, but I can understand his attitude especially with one card only giving him 1 round.
