Completely glad this clown managed to p1ss Lara off with his complete lack of respect and Lara didn't fall into his normal coasting with this guy who isn't even good enough to be one of his sparring partners.

This Cornflake kid seriously needs a nutritionist. How can a professional athlete at that weight be so skinny yet so fat at the same damn time?

I really wish Lara would carry this type of spite into every fight.
Far too often he is in fights that are going the distance or a lot closer than they should be because he is content on coasting.

I think the fight with Paul Williams ruined him. He gave his all and schooled Paul, but got blatantly robbed.

I like how when Mexicans are robbed they “weren’t really robbed,” yet when it is a Mexican who supposedly robs another fighter it is claimed as fact

              No way. Not even.

What I said the night of the fight, plus scorecard, and I linked to the discussion.

Lara damn near pitched a shutout on the due in an absolutely boring performance.

He COULD have stepped on the gas more and had a better showing but chose not to - it was frustrating watching him. He had glimmers of defensive brilliance, but he was holding back on what would have been quality offensive work against a guy who was there to be hit.

Second, Castano is a very raw, rugged fighter that just (in my opinion) isn't on Lara's level. I would love to see Castano vs. Horn @ 154 because I think we'd see a hell of a fight between them.

Either way, I don't see a draw. I had one swing round - Round 8. Other than that, unless all you care about is a guy coming forward swinging for the fences or rabbit punches, I saw nothing but a Lara win.

If he hadnt lost to hurd i rekon he would have had a crack vs charlo by now..n if he continued his win streak maybe would have got enough people asking for a canelo rematch.... but cant see that happening. At this rate GGG be lucky to get another shot

Imagine that, a prize fighter called cornflakes. Deserves to get knocked out.
