Arum is just tired of being the B side or cut out of these big fights.
De La Hoya vs Mayweather got made without him.
He had to cave to Floyd’s demands with Pacquiao vs Mayweather.
The rematch with Wilder was basically already agreed to when Fury signed with Too Rank and they were clearly the second banana.
He has egg on his face after the Crawford/Pacquiao money never came and is jealous that Hearn already secured the Saudi blood money bag for AJ/Ruiz 2 and is about to do it again for AJ/Fury. I still think it happens in August. Hearn will bring Fury the deal and he won’t let Arum get in the way of a huge payday.

I think the problem here is quite obvious. Hearn is trying to make a big deal with the Saudis but it is taking a lot of time and there are ifs and buts. Hearn wants to keep people interested and saying it's one week, two weeks. For Hearn and AJ, it is OK to wait the additional 1-2 months and get the fight done because AJ fought in December.

Arum and Warren and Fury were interested in the fight, but they cannot bring in a big deal right now due to the pandemic. They were interested in Hearn's offer but it is taking its time. Fury is not OK with it since he last fought in Feb of 2020. For Fury and Arum and Warren, if it is taking too long, we can continue that negotiation for a winter fight but let's have Fury fight someone (Wilder) in-between and AJ fight Usyk. Plus, that would mean they never have to negotiate a Wilder step-aside fee or any other thing in the arbitration.

That is why Hearn is furious about why Arum is negative and not ready to wait, While Arum is negative because Eddie couldn't deliver in time and his fighter doesn't want to wait.

If Arum agrees with Hearn it will give hearn too much leverage and allow him to drag out the proposal to a point where it is harmful to Fury.

Its not a personal vendetta. People on all the fight sites seem to think this negotiation is an attitude problem, No... it is a negotiation and each party has to protect its interests.
Yeah, you raise a fair point. Bob does have a history of being extremely disingenuous with fans and the press though. Says one thing one day, the opposite the next. Eddie has been consistently off the mark with his time-frames for this fight -- and he may yet turn out to be completely wrong about it happening at all -- but at least he hasn't flip-flopped. Whereas as I mentioned before, you have Bob saying Wilder is completely off the table, then suddenly he's a viable candidate for the next fight.

F***ing great atmosphere that night. I had a big bet on Froch, always felt Bute was a hype job.

If Hearn just kept his mouth shut in regard to business dealings and fight negotiations he’d get a hell of a lot more done. Publicly negotiating fights only creates problems and makes the deal much more difficult due to media and public pressure. He obviously just craves the attention though.

All you have to do is look at Arum’s cousins like Jeffrey Epstein, Alan Dershowitz, Harvey Weinstein, Scott Rudin, Woody Allen etc and you get the picture.
