Fighters they don't know? Joshua sold out MSG and Fury Wilder did great. Ruiz would of never sold out a venue like that or he would of. Wilder never did those without Fury. I'd say both fighters are well known. I'm not agreeing it would do 500k in PPV's but let's not pretend they are total unknowns.

LOL, post of the week.Fury could be the greatest heavyweight in history but we'll never know because he'll be fighting the undefeated #58 Peter Kadiru after another 2 year hiatus while Wilder is still sitting at home twerking and figuring out how his corner managed to inject drugs directly into his superhero costume while Joshua is content to avoid Ruiz, Fury, and Wilder while negotiating his latest Eurohype fight in a 30x30 ring in Saudi Arabia while Ruiz can't decide if he's motivated to fight another aging contender from 10 years ago or eat another aged brisket that's been slow cooking for 10 hours while Whyte continues demanding a title fight after getting brutally knocked out by his latest 40+ year old cherrypick gone wrong.Comment

Yes, so he was offered 80 million to fight AJ not 100 million. This is kindergarten math FFS. You guys type 100 million which not only is it not true, you don't even realize that the offer didn't include a split of PPV. AJ would get 100% of the skysports PPV while Wilder gets 40 million flat. keep trying to make that offer sound legitimate, the facts don't support your BS, neither does the person who made the offer/sComment

Good assessment. I think there are more complicated factors, like the Wilder Arbitration, but what you wrote is absolutely a factor.I have a theory...Hearn/AJ are keen to make the fight next because to them Fury's inactivity is a significant advantage. Fury/Bob were open to it if it's in July but now that seems very unlikely, they'd rather have another fight first before going in with AJ.
If AJ ends up defending against Usyk and Fury has his third fight against Wilder, inactivity won't be an issue anymore. I wonder if Eddie would still be as keen to make the fight?Comment

AJ fights on DAZN on a fight by fight basis. ESPN would put this on there APP with an additional fee to watch, more than likely in conjunction with DAZN. Likelihood of a US PPV is very slim. If you think DAZN is just going to step aside and let this fight be all in ESPNs hands, you're crazy my friend.Comment

Fight by fight basis. That means DAZN has no rights for the fight. Unless DAZN makes a huge offer it will be PPV on ESPN. Why would ESPN want to give up exclusive rights for DAZN?
