Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who co-promotes WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, says a potential unification with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is not taking place in July or August. A few days ago, Arum explained to BoxingScene.com that Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, was taking too long to secure a finalized agreement with respect to the site deal.

It’s over! I knew it! Took us all for a ride!

arum Spoke to the telegraph which is a UK newspaper and he said the fight is pretty much ‘dead in the water’. He said it will take months to sort out all the fees and broadcast deals with the Saudis and that both AJ and fury will most likely fight each other in December but in the meanwhile fight someone else before then.

But Hearn earlier today was still confident of getting a deal done. Doesn't look good, at least for the chances of this fight happening next. They can come back and try to get it on at the end of the year.

      Fury vs Wilder
      Joshua vs Usyk

Or do you guys prefer other fights?

Has felt like TR and the Fury side has been stalling for a while, hoping to drag it out and that it won't get done. Don't think Fury wants it next, feels he probably loses unless he can get a tune-up first

I thought Eddie Hearn had it all figured out.

Eddie's the one that can't get the funding together, but it's Top Rank that don't want the fight.

Sigh... This is boxing in 2021. When is the next fight of that youtuber that you are all so excited about? Might as well give up on boxing too and join the the rest...

Co-promotion. Both sides chose to go with the Saudi's over other site deals. But now it's Hearns fault? The only guy actively trying to make the fight is to blame? GTFOH.
