Arum himself said they met with the arbiter to see if they can work things out before the ruling. If the contract is expired why are you trying to work anything out? If the ruling will be in your favor why are you trying to work things out? I think they wanted that money hoping it would be enough to pay whatever was ruled.

Hearn got to Coppinger ASAP and said not so fast!

Alright, so looks like a deal may be finalized over the weekend. Let's see.

this **** is all over the place. Still reeks of the Joshua camp doing what they can to push the fight through, while the Fury camp tries to stall while making it look like they still want it

Arum says there are other issues, besides the site fee, and strongly believes it could take several months to work everything out.
              Yea like arbitration

Eddie up to his old tricks. He did the same thing with the first AJ-Wilder negotiations. It was only when Tyson exposed Wilder that Eddie was serious about making the Wilder fight.

Eddie is just conning the public into thinking he's doing all the legwork and Warren, Arum and Fury are the one's that don't want it.

Eddie is a liar. He doesn't want to risk his cash cow. Warren and Arum have a track record of putting on 50/50 fights with their top boxers in recent times, e.g Dubois-Joyce or Loma -Lopez etc. So why wouldn't they want Fury vs AJ when they are confident Fury will win. Eddie is only fooling his brainwashed followers. He has brainwashed them well.

At this point, the fight is not heading in the right direction as Arum puts it. All this talk is positioning by both sides on who can blame who to claim that they actually wanted the fight and the other side did not. Sure Eddie, you're the one who said you can pull this off for Jul/Aug, not Warren and not Arum. They probably can do it in the US/UK but that ain't happening in July due to Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Fury's been waiting endlessly for Eddie "next week" Hearn to keep postponing the date of the announcement.

Time for Fury to fight another nobody and Joshua to meet his mandatory with Usyk . . . .
