It was a first round KO, granted, but Wilder got rocked in that fight. It was actually a great one round fight

Arreola by KO is 101:1 in any round... and he has the eye of the tiger.

I think this will be an unexpected barnburner.
what are the odds of Arreola crying in post fight interview after his loss?

The same as him launching some F-Bombs during the same interview!

Stiverne was hired to transfer the belt to wilder.

Stiverne was the hired patsy in both Wilder "fights" ... or skits.

While I do not think Ruiz is as good, he has the same problem David Tua had in his prime. No matter how motivated or skilled he is, Ruiz size requires him to get inside to win. He has a decent enough jab, but he can't use it as effectively as all the other taller HW can. Tua was the complete package, had good head movement, nice defense, and power to rock anyone. But even he got beat easily by Lewis who just fought at distance. So I agree with other posters worrying that Ruiz just is a tad limited.

Ruiz being good helps this division a ton. So I hope he is back for real. Think he gets a good win here in what may be a game fight. Too bad since it is on PPV with no real big star to sell it, no one will see it.

IF Ruiz is in shape and motivated......

I like his chances against Whyte. He has shown himself able to get hit. Plays well to Ruiz strengths.

Ruiz dominates Parker if they rematch.

Like his chances against Luis Ortiz. I still love the idea of this fight, as their two styles line up well. That would be a good one I think Ruiz wins.

Ruiz can beat Wilder. Period. He is also more at risk from that KO viper strike as he would have to be aggressive to get to Wilder. But if Wilder does not land early, Ruiz dominates him.

While I would take Usyk over him, I think Ruiz has a better then a punchers chance. Usyk has has shown time and time again an ability to adjust to who he is fighting. I think Usyk pretty much owns 9 of 12 rounds against Ruiz, unless Ruiz scores inside and really hurts him.

Ruiz will not beat Joshua again. He will not beat Fury, unless he does not take him serious. I think Joyce is an interesting fight, but I think Joyce would win.

Ruiz beats any other name out there. Again.... IF he is in shape and motivated.

wish fatso had half your confidence. he's run away from Whyte's challenges and is happy to be kept safely in house at the pbc minor league for pretenders.

Fit ruiz, beats AJ every time.
That's why another AJ fight will never happen for ruiz.

                      Deluded Whyte fanboy.

Whyte has no chance against ruiz. There's levels to this game, and Whyte is C grade, domestic level at best.

I'm still amazed there are people that think whyte can beat anyone in top 5. He just got his lights turned out by a b grade 40 year old, stunk out ring against wach, got dropped by midget cruiserweight weight rivas.

P.s. no one is scared if chinny plodding Whyte. Not even bottom f grade fighters like wach.
                      15round 15round likes this.
