I've brought this up many times. Arum/fury had zero problems fighting Wilder in a joint promotion & Arum was singing Als praises,but when its about wws "als a ghost"

lets be honest, Crawford and Spence are not exactly screaming out to fight each other, there’s never been any talk of an offer being sent from one team to another to even try to get the ball rolling. I don’t think the blame is with any one person.

The real problem is Crawford is with top rank and they don’t really do many crossover fights unless it’s a huge mega fight. And all the other WW’s are with PBC happy to fight each other picking up a few million. I have no doubt Crawford would’ve been in that mix if he was with PBC.

Neither Spence or Crawford are really crossover stars, so even though it’s a big fight in the boxing world it’s not a fight that crosses over outside of that, which is why there’s not enough money in it for the two networks to do a co promotion and broadcast. So nobody has an incentive to force the fight. I think that’s really the top and bottom of it.

Fury v Wilder was a crossover, but it’s a bigger money fight and more international as Fury brought a second PPV market to the table with the UK.

You always seem upset when someone says anything negative about Top Rank and/or a Top Rank hype job for some odd reason. It's like travesty whenever a black criminal gets rightfully shot and killed while resisting arrest. Just odd and makes no sense. Care to clarify why? Uncle Bob has to be paying boxing media to not write pieces exposing his hype jobs cherry picking and ducking so I wouldn't be surprised if some posters get paid to captain save a hoe for Top Rank too.

Actually I am not a fan of any promoter. I’ve said this in many threads. I’ve criticized Arum before. To an extent they are all shady. At least Arum can say he promoted some of the biggest fights of all time since the 70’s. I guess I’m just perplexed by all of the posts that rally behind promoters and managers. Same with networks. Showtime vs HBO vs DAZN vs ESPN etc. Who does that? All I care about is seeing the best fights. But it takes more than one promoter to make a fight. Blame both Top Rank and PBC for not getting Crawford a fight with Spence, Garcia, Thurman, Porter. Ultimately the fans lose out when we have to settle for mismatches or fights that are never made.

Spence said years ago that he wants to claim all belts on his side of the street because it makes a Crawford fight that much bigger.

The only reason it got jacked up is Keef letting Manny "TAKE WHATEVER HE WANTS!" and turn back the clock, beating him. Then Manny ducked Spence for a lightweight and getting stripped. All of that nonsense delayed things by like two years now.

But Spence has repeatedly said that he wants to fight Crawford, but Crawford has to accept B-Side.

Crawford is the one saying he wouldn't fight for less than 60% of the purse.

That's called pricing yourself out.
