I've heard Calzaghe has beaten 9 world and or former-world champions, yet people still bash his resume. I'm just wondering what you all think, do you think any bum can just become a world champion at one time in their career?
How hard or easy is it to become a world champion?

You know whats even harder then becoming a World Champion? Defending it a **** load of times and stay a World-Champion, I'm looking at you Calzaghe and Hopkins with your record title defenses. -
Every fighter who gets a title shot, is an elite fighter. To even get to the level of guys like Collazo or Urango it's hard, very hard. Years of hard work, dedication, pain. Leave it alone to get Hopkins or Calzaghe's level. Those are unique athletes.Comment

Well, it was quite easy since Calzaghe made it. He sucks ass, can't even punch right. 9 world champions MY ASS. He beat cans and has beens, that's it. Only Kessler and who made Kessler famous? Exactly. They make each other famous and it's like a closed circuit down in Europe so you can't really count those giuys. Calzaghe is Sven Otke, people have seen the type before. You can only fool people once. He retired unproved, it's not me saying it, he just didn't do enough.Comment

I don't know boxing history like that, but I'm assuming because theirs more belts right? Still pretty damn hard even if their are more belts.Comment

And to have it all taken away with a man with plaster in his wraps... Thats the worst. Oh wait, thats right Margarito only tried to cheat against a 36 yr old Mosley, not the man that beat Mosley.Comment
