Nel o just needs to do what he needs to do at 160 and 168 for the remainder of his career. And last fight at cruiserweight if he wants.
      Cherry pick weakest cruiserweight

Canelo is already the only former welterweight since Hearns to become champ at light heavyweight, and he did it jumping up two divisions as a compact 5'8. He's now focused on trying to make history by unifying at 168 but haters are trying to complain about that? Even if he announced he was fighting Joshua at heavyweight the haters would be saying he's already been KO'ed and needs to fight Fury instead. Same hyper nitpicking double standards.

Welterweights of THIS GENERATION are dwarfs. Delahoya, Trinidad, Forest. None like that today. I think it’s too much video games. LOL.

It is the weight not the height. Dwight Braxton was 5'7" and fought at LHW, CW and HW. And he was really good.

I think you are talking about PAC. PAC fought the weakest guy at 135 (David Diaz) and another weak one at 140 (Hatton). After that he dubiously won a title at 154 even though it was a catch weight of 150 against the weakest guy who had just been brutally KO’d by Mosley. That would be Margacheato in case you weren’t sure.
After that he had about a dozen fights at 147 and the only true WWs that he fought were Bradley who beat him, Floyd beat him too and Horn beat him too. So Thurman is the guy he beat to win a legit belt.

Canelo, meanwhile is going to unify the168 division. Has PAC unified any of the weight class he’s fought at?

I never called the great Roy Jones Jr win over Ruiz a cherry pick in a division we all knew he did not belong at, he did his stuff there and he moved down again,

I don't like people criticizing Alvarez for not staying at 175, the dude saw an opportunity to win a title there against the weakest champion and he did his job, good for him. He is not even a big SMW so it's cool for him.

Now this is a huge disagreement from my part, I dare you to name a fighter who is fighting the level of competition Alvarez is fighting, there is no one even close to what he is doing right now,, the last part, calling a pro fighter a coward just itches me, I usually don't comment on these kind of posts, but sometimes I feel intrigued to know what's going on behinds someone's mind to say such things.
My question to you is, do you think what Canelo did is comparable to what Roy Jones did?

And if you answer was no why even bring that up?

That's my problem. You act like it's comparable comparable something insane like that but in reality its pretty damn normal. You're not the only guy to do this.

You say you're a boxing purist but are you? I very much like one champion per division. The champion is the best. No bull ****.

Canelo was ALWAYS been a 160-168lb guy who cut weight, let's not fool ourselves so to suggest 175 was such a huge jump for him is ridiculous. To claim that you are the best and want to fight the best? Also ridiculous.

Your excuse of "boxers aren't scared" is total bull****. It does take balls to get into the ring but there are guys you avoid for a plethora of reasons and don't kid yourself. Why do you think trainers may pick the opponents? How do you think prospects are brought up?

If they're not scared why not just jump head first in? Instead we get tons of guys with padded records who might not be as great as their resume suggests. Some guys are too afraid to lose their zero.

                    Guys who fight the best

                    Lomachenko
                    AJ
                    Inoue
                    Uysk at cruiser
look at Estrada, Rungsevai, chocolito those guys

Just a few names that come to mind.

But I guess ONLY Canelo is fighting the best right?

Id have to ask you which divisions champions are better. Those at 160 or 168?

Canelo is a great boxer but let's not pretend he's more than he is.
