Of course. Scared to ****ing death of Beterbiev until he's shot to pieces. You can't even keep up with the lies coming out of redballs. What do you expect from a cheater though.

I think you are talking about PAC. PAC fought the weakest guy at 135 (David Diaz) and another weak one at 140 (Hatton). After that he dubiously won a title at 154 even though it was a catch weight of 150 against the weakest guy who had just been brutally KO’d by Mosley. That would be Margacheato in case you weren’t sure.
After that he had about a dozen fights at 147 and the only true WWs that he fought were Bradley who beat him, Floyd beat him too and Horn beat him too. So Thurman is the guy he beat to win a legit belt.
Canelo, meanwhile is going to unify the168 division. Has PAC unified any of the weight class he’s fought at?

I agree with the point you made and to reinforce that point, Canelo actually started his pro career at 147 lbs and moved up to 154 after his bout against Baldomir at the Staples Center.Comment

Canelo is already the only former welterweight since Hearns to become champ at light heavyweight, and he did it jumping up two divisions as a compact 5'8. He's now focused on trying to make history by unifying at 168 but haters are trying to complain about that? Even if he announced he was fighting Joshua at heavyweight the haters would be saying he's already been KO'ed and needs to fight Fury instead. Same hyper nitpicking double standards.Comment

This isn’t news. We all knew the only reason canelo went to175 in the first place was because he saw a low hanging fruit title there with the ghost of Kovalev. Kovalev was 36, coming off 2 kos in the last 2 years and had just fought 10 weeks prior to facing canelo. The stars lined up for canelo so that he can get that title with minimal risk. There’s no chance he would’ve taken that fight if Kovalev was the same guy he was when he went into the first fight with Ward.Comment

I totally agree here. Spence is a pro, doesn’t miss weight, and was IBF champ only for quite some time so he he had to make two weight checks.
I disagree with this for the same reason. If Canelo decides to skip a division and pick up a title, good for him. He’s not obliged to continue to fight above a weight he can comfortably make, a weight where he is champion, and a weight where he is unifying belts. If he chooses to fight at his correct weight that does not make him a coward.
I say it all the time. You can’t duck a fighter in the division above you. Period.Comment
