He is 175 fighter. If Canelo wants a legit fight, he should fight him at 175.

Not translated but if you can understand Spanish Reynoso says they want Beterbiev/Charlo/Benavidez for 2022

Yes, I too looked at the face-off and Canleo seemed to be a little taller. But I get the whole 5'9" thing. I am 5'6" on a good day. In my youth, I used to claim to be 5'8". My friends politely ignored my claim and the girls ignored me.

5'8 is average for a welter.

Pacquiao at 5'5 is very short for a welter.

1965 has NOTHING to do with boxing frequency. From age 40 until he retired SRR at age 44 he had a total of 45 fights! 45 in 4 years in his 40s! SRR at 41 fought 26 yo Wilf Greaves, less than a month later 41 year old SRR fights and wins against 22 yo Denny Moyer. The fighters of today are primadonnas and time between fights is an excuse pure and simple.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Clenelo knows he can't **** with Beterbiev without taking permanent damage and shattering that mirror.

nobody does that anymore and there’s a reason why genius. Fighting scrubs and their guys who are at the same disadvantage of fighting several times a year is not the same as old washed Kovalev fighting twice in 10 weeks while 28 year old canelo was coming off a nice 6 month break. You think canelo at 36 would he willing to fight a top p4p guy 10 weeks after being in a tough fight? Hell no. He never would’ve dared tinfifht a prime Kovalev. He knees he was dealing with compromised goods. Have some sense.

Look at old pics of him and Delahoya. He’s a midget.

Ginger wasn't at 160 when he fought kovalev. Actually canelos natural weight is around 175. When he was 160 he used to gain 10 to 15 pounds overnight. And use some magical beef to cut weight.

I think that makes sense, for now at least. The Kovalev fight always did seem like an opportunity grab.

He'll have cleared out 168 before too long though.
