Eddie was talking to that big t^tty interviewer a week or so ago & was saying after they get all the belts at 168 they are going for Beterbiev.
Sounds like they need a group meeting if they all split up on the future plans doe. That said ties go to the fighters stance so I'll assume 168 is the endgame is the plan.Comment

I dont even know how people can defend Canelo because he literally just admitted that Kovalev was a huge cherry and despite winning a title in that weight class he never cared to be the best there.
He literally waited until there was an opportunity to cherry pick up a title. History repeats itself.
Take a look at when he tried to cherry pick much smaller Floyd at 154lbs.
Think about all the years he waited out GGG at 160 and all the controversy that surrounded all those fights.
I never called the great Roy Jones Jr win over Ruiz a cherry pick in a division we all knew he did not belong at, he did his stuff there and he moved down again,
I don't like people criticizing Alvarez for not staying at 175, the dude saw an opportunity to win a title there against the weakest champion and he did his job, good for him. He is not even a big SMW so it's cool for him.
Now this is a huge disagreement from my part, I dare you to name a fighter who is fighting the level of competition Alvarez is fighting, there is no one even close to what he is doing right now,, the last part, calling a pro fighter a coward just itches me, I usually don't comment on these kind of posts, but sometimes I feel intrigued to know what's going on behinds someone's mind to say such things.Comment

I have no problems with people doing their business but don't act like you're some real killer taking up all challenges trying to be the best.
Youre picking guys when you think they're most vulnerable. That doesn't make you the best. It makes you a coward.Comment

So, a fight with Jean Pascal is off the table. I didn't think Canelo would want that smoke, before Pascal gets too old. Should have been a natural fight to make, as Kovalev beat Pascal twice when he still had it, and Pascal has a legit LHW belt. Also, a Pascal fight would put a legitimate champion on Canelo's resume without an asterisk (as long as Pascal is still top shelf). But of course, Canelo was never thinking of taking a challenge of that order. It's a shame though ... that fight that would bring TRUE greatness. There are no such fights on that resume otherwise ...Comment

Sorry everyone but you cant call him a ducker for not wanting to fight big light heavyweights, the guy is 5 ft 8 maybe 5 ft 9 at the most lol. Physically he has a lot of disadvantages at that weight and he is even disadvantaged at super middleweight but still cleaning out the division.Comment

I totally agree here. Spence is a pro, doesn’t miss weight, and was IBF champ only for quite some time so he he had to make two weight checks.
I disagree with this for the same reason. If Canelo decides to skip a division and pick up a title, good for him. He’s not obliged to continue to fight above a weight he can comfortably make, a weight where he is champion, and a weight where he is unifying belts. If he chooses to fight at his correct weight that does not make him a coward.
I say it all the time. You can’t duck a fighter in the division above you. Period.Comment
