I had no idea that this fight was on PPV. Haymon is out of his damn mind. Hopefully this is a tune up for Wilder v. Ruiz. Ruiz vs. King Kong Ortiz would have been a better fight. I thought that Arreola retired several years ago.

Yeah Ortiz would have been a blast of an opponent for Ruiz. But maybe next? Ortiz needs another payday and is running low on gas. Soon or never for him. Wilder is a riddle wrapped in a mystery. What he is doing is beyond me. But Ruiz against Wilder might have even sold some on PPV, as opposed to this farce. I am not spending money on it. If they think Ruiz/Arreola can sell, more power to them. I cannot remember one person in the comment section on here saying they will buy it.

The fact its PPV is insane. For a regular televised fight it would have been tolerable due to the Mexican HW connection.

i really enjoyed the FOTY fight vs Klownacki but it was one of the lowest skill fights I’ve ever seen. Reminded me of Chisora Whyte 1

Arreola got fight of the year at least in heavyweight against Kownacki not long ago .

He’ll be in far better shape for this one ,maybe even make Ruiz look bad in spots ? Either way if we want to shut nonsense PPVs down here’s the chance by not remotely purchasing it .

I hope it does well for him. I may even buy it just to add to his retirement fund and I agree I think he can put Ruiz in a tough spot at times and see what Ruiz is made of.

The problem with that beyond the over priced fight is it’s saying put any fight on PPV because that’s what will happen if it does well . This why Dazn and ESPN Plus are fan friendly this would be on either app if they were at Dazn or Top Rank , it’s the equivalent of Hearn Putting Price vs Whyte on PPV here for 50 dollars and we know the hate he would get . I like the fight but when we let fights like this succeed on PPV that’s when the actual fans suffer ,what about their wallets ?

I’m missing a good fight because Haymon has some scheming here .
