This of course is a LOW IQ opinion of a shut-in. Why would Askren take a dive? Money? how much money does it take to keep someone quiet. What if he talks? That would make everyone look bad. All for a youtube star?

I'm ALWAYS pro new guys coming into the sport & trying different sh^t or doing their own thing cuz it's not like the people running so called "real boxing" have an ounce of respect & integrity for the sport & I'd love for their power to get more diluted than it already is.

That allows more opportunity for people with respect & integrity to get into the sport at a future date & put boxing first over everything else like all these other better represented sports do for their own sports much better than boxing people do for boxing.

That’s true to a certain extent. But at the same time, I don’t want this production to be the future of boxing. It feels too mainstream and too showy. It almost felt like a WWE production. I don’t care too much about the artist performances. That fine it’s just another thing to bring in a wider audience.

But celebrities coming into the sport and taking over, and carrying themselves like they’re the best boxers is kind of insulting to the real championship level boxers. Let’s not act like Jake Paul is a championship level athlete. He’s good for what he is and I’ll leave it at that.

I’m all for boxing to evolve and grow so that it can maintain some life to it, but the whole Triller brand and production just seems too “extra.”

If anything I think they should model their production after something like UFC. This feels too much like a WWE production. Especially with the slap fight. That was too staged and even some of the KO’s from the boxing matches looked very questionable.
