seems pretty selfish. i don't want brain damage fighting good fighters, just let me give brain damage to some journeymen

How much money would someone like Dave Allen make for fighting low level guys? Anyone know ?

I quite like Dave but the man is a massive attention seeker.

Not being elite or a high level prospect doesn't mean you should retire. He can easily come back to fight on the domestic scene, make a few quid and target an Area or British title if that's what he wants to do.
He's been a punching bag his whole career man, remember what Yoka did to him? That's not mentioning all the wars he's had in the gym.

To me, he already sounds punchy. Stay retired.

He shouldn`t be allowed to fight massive punchers.

No, he needs to stay put before he gets seriously hurt. His punch resistance is gone. The BBBoC shouldn't sanction anymore of his fights for his own safety and good.

                  He’s got a new girlfriend

probably wants to impress her by knocking out a few human punch bags

Fundamentally Dave Allen did have good innate attributes, he was durable, determined and had decent power 'But did not seem to evolve much as a fighter technically, no matter who he trained with etc'.

David Price done a real job on him, done good to stand up to Price's power.

Maybe the time out has rejuvenated him.

Might as well just go until there is no more 'Sometimes I like that in a fighter'.

The matchroom ppv cards are looking sparse. They need there ppv big gun back for AJs next fight.
