Boots can beat the **** out of Crawford right now though. Brutalize him in all honesty.
Your Dallas affiliation surely has nothing to do with this, right?

Bud is also deceptively strong almost to a fault, his opponents often think they can trade with him because they are bigger but they get stopped because they underestimate his power. Bud is a MUCH better switch hitter then Boots too. Another thing your forgetting to mention is coaching, If you believe Boots is just a bigger version of Crawford trust & believe Bo-Mac knows all of his weakness'. Boots is good but he's not ready for Bud just yet.
No the **** he is not. Lmao Boots literally switches stances to switch angles in the middle of his combinations. Crawford don't do anything close to that with his switching. Boots literally hits and peppers you with punches the whole damn time from all angles. He doesn't ever fight a single round in the same stance. Crawford will fight whole rounds in a single stance.

Not to mention even at 23, and with a lot of baby on his body(Boots hasn't gotten his man strength yet, neither has Vergil Ortiz either, but that's a different topic and a fantastic fight down the road), he hits very ****ing hard, much harder than Crawford. He LIFTED Lipinets off his feet with that left uppercut for the knockout. This isn't even in the same realm here Ennis is the much bigger and stronger guy. Ennis may end up at 168 or 175 depending on how his career goes. Crawford's ceiling is 154 max.

Boots has elite level talent, size, speed, etc.BUT he gets hit cleanly by guys much less skillful than Spence & Bud,I think he needs another fight before hes ready for the champs(this was his showcase step up fight,& he delivered with relative ease)

,but he also showed he would likely be hit too often by Spence & vs Crawford I see it as 55/45 favor of Bud,after another fight vs another step up,I will pick boots to beat Bud,Spence I think is still a bridge too far though I'm sure Boots would make it a war.

Nope, Spence is a beatable fighter, I can see Boots beating Spence, with more EXPERIENCE. He has the size and skillset to do it, just don't know if he has the experience. He's never been 12 rounds before.

He is just better than Crawford. Offensively and defensively. Crawford does everything Boots does while moving, standing still at long range. Boots does it while he dances around you rolling your punches off his shoulders and hands. Crawford doesn't have defense like that, he can't even slip a jab bro. Everything you think Crawford can do, Ennis actually can do bro.

I agree hes already better overall than Bud in everything EXCEPT 1 thing: Experience at championship level,Bud has the edge still imo very slightly, only because Bud would be able to manage the clock, pace himself while getting into a rhythm & using Defense to get a close decision. I think if Boots has just 1 more step up he'll already be able to beat Bud possibly by Ko.

no idea and irrelevant because these dudes will never fight one another. Porter will be his boogeyman, maybe?

Instead, we'll have 10 Canelo threads on how he is avoiding fights and its all a mirage.

ps: Ennis looks awesome, but I don't expect much these days in terms of fights

I hear you but I'm not sure I agree about the range thing. Bud is good at mid range as well. Also, as I mentioned in another thread, Boots seems to admire his work after throwing and with someone like Bud who punches with you, that could go wrong. Bud is much more creative offensively than Spence and whether people realize it or not, Spence hasn't been the physical downhill fighter in his last couple of fights that he was prior. Could be opposition but I think it is also the way he lives outside the ring with the drinking and weight cuts starting to wear on him. That style is hard to maintain as is, when you add in poor discipline, it will only expedite the decline.

Spence has shown a lot of versatility in his last few fights though. He is more than a come forward fighter. He beat Brook in the pocket. He beat Mikey at range behind a jab. He beat Porter in the phone booth in the trenches. He was coming in and out on Danny Garcia. He has shown you that he can fight in every style of boxing in his last few fights. Porter even said on his podcast Spence is a chameleon in the ring. He adjusts his style to whatever you are doing and will neutralize your best weapon eventually. Spence is a good all around fighter, and he is also a defensively responsible fighter, something Crawford is not. Spence is also of a similar size as Boots, Crawford is not. Even at 23 Boots is clearly the bigger more skilled man. He won't win the fight, in about two more years max Spence won't either.

I don't think Spence has a chance other than to carry Boots fast and pressure him. Spence is really good at many things but he's average when it comes to athleticism and speed. He's not "twitchy" I guess is the word. He did mix it up against Danny and boxed against Mikey but I feel like that's an adaptation to something he's unable to do physically more than something he's willingly doing like he told us against Mikey. Also, is Boots can somehow make Spence back up, then he has no shot. Crawford, at the least can fight going forward or backwards. He hasn't done it much as of late and I'm not sure why. Maybe trying to be more exciting? But I also think his natural temperament is aggressive which causes him to get caught with some silly shots.

I do agree that Spence is closer in size but I'm unsure how much it will matter. Spence best weapon imo is his jab but I can see Boots taking that away. I think he's 50/50 versus either guy btw since I think both Crawford and Spence have already peaked.
