What are you talking about, every good coach in boxing says lifting heavy weights is ****** and doesn't help. Technique, handpseed, accuracy, and timing help punching power, not lifting weights lmao. Andre Ward and B-Hop say it all the time.

Deadlifting that much at his age and size is impressive. I'm 21 and bigger than him and I can't deadlift that.

I will say though, his form is HORRIBLE. My god my back hurt looking at him doing it so badly.

Quite impressive given he is practically using nothing but his lower back.

Awful form and a sure fire way to injure yourself and likely spend the rest of your life with back problems.
I find it very worrying that such well respected athletes first off have such awful form and secondly they share it. No wonder so many people have back issues they see **** like this and think that is how it should be done.

Horrendous form I sincerely hope everyone who watches this has more sense and better technique I can't stress how dangerous this is.

Morales is gonna pull out of their exhibition if he sees this video.
The Morales bout was ditched. Most likely because Munguía was given his date so they have to prep. Barrera vs Soto Karass is the new scrap.

however, Barrera and Morales are good friends now that I totally forgot about their rivalry. Lol. I bet it took years for them to make up so perhaps, just perhaps, maybe Morales thought it was best to keep it that way. Which means maybe Barrera was down to beat his ass again!!

It's called strength and conditioning bud

Doing things like deadlifts and bench press maxes low rep increase your strength and tendons ,doing bodybuilding high reps and vanity lifting yeah but I'm pretty sure all modern day boxers incorporate bench press deadlifts and squats to some degree even terrance crawford

Damn, I didn't know it got scrapped. I missed that news. Yeah they been friends for a while now. Both are retired, well paid, and respected in the boxing community, no need to hate each other anymore.

I can never forget how fierce their rivalry was, it was personal. They were socking each other up during the press conference of their first fight.

And I remember Barrera taunting Morales when he won the third fight holding up his fingers "two to one." Then Morales threw a water bottle at him. Lmao

That's what you call 'EGO LIFTING". There's absolutely no benefit of deadlifting super heavyweight.

So uneducated of course there is

Deadlifting is the only natural way to increase hgh internally and it has all kinds of beneficial chemical reactions in your body
