I look at the division and have to remember... who not named Tyson Fury? has any real subtle skills? And I realize... Maybe this kid, is just right for the time and if he waits another ten years guys will be so robotic they will not even know how to throw combinations. These guys all fight like Ammy fighters because they do not get tested by smart fighters. Kevin Johnson, the Kingpin, has skills, but sure was not trying very hard when he fought this kid.

Watch that fight. You can literally see Johnson looking at the kid's big toe head, chin held high, and then not doing a thing... I don't mean to sound conspiratorial, but I know Johnson's eyes and where they were. Guess he could not pull the trigger.

Hrgovic has wins over Parker , Yoka and should have a win over Joyce among a great WSOB career . I don’t think I’ve ever seen him lose a round as a pro either ? If he has its rare . Everything you said they said the same thing thing about Vitali Klitschko who Kevin Johnson fought the same way because when your not trying to win it’s easier not to look bad . Hunter is a decent counter puncher when he loses badly you’ll still say the same things ,he’s actually better then Furyin few ways in terms of trying press him ,he’s harder chinned and a punishing puncher as well . . The OP has it right .

I think he should beat Hunter.

It's funny how Hunter is hailed as some sort of killer for his life and death 12 round draw with Povetkin.

I know, I know Povetkin got lucky and pulled out a one hitter on Whyte but outside of that their 2 fights consisted of Whyte just beating the snot out of Povetkin and flooring him 5 times. That's where Povetkin is truly at.

So yeah I don't rate Hunter as he is equal to a shot version of Povetkin.

But as for Hrgovic I think he's just this generations Kubrat Pulev, he will be good enough against anyone except the elites but he will come unstuck against the top 5

he doesn`t beat Joshua, Fury, Usyk, Ruiz, Wilder. I also doubt he beats Joyce. maybe he beats Whyte, just maybe.
            He actually fought Joyce...

Johnson is shot... He cannot pull the trigger. Should have a win over Joyce? lol. That fight was either a win for Joyce, or if someone called it a draw it would not have been a robbery. It doesn't matter to me if he loses a round fighting the competition he has fought... There are layers to the competition and the Ammy style is great for winning rounds. I want to see when he steps up and fights a guy who can move, counter well, and just a better calibre opponent. Hunter is not a top guy either... I have to look at Hunter's fights, then I will decide how I think he will do.

Better than Fury? Who took shots from Wilder? I don't see this kid as much of a puncher. He has accumulation but he does not vary the speed and set up of his shots... To be fair, that is something he may learn to do yet... Im looking if I see changes I have no problems saying so. These prospects are all young, they can learn... He cannot keep his head straight up and drop his right... eventually a fighter like Ruiz, Whyte, etc will catch him badly. Vitalie was IMO better than Vlad, and learned not to hold his head up... But even Vitalie got buckled by Sanders that second fight... watch what Sanders caught him with.

Meh just think Joyce is like the Polish kid from Brooklyn: he is big and strong and can throw a lot of punches per a round. He beats guys on accumulation. Joyce may have been a bit faster that fight, but at the end of the day he threw more shots. The lesson should be, for this kid, to learn to vary his shots, set up big shots properly, so if he has real puncher's power (I don't see it) He can use it. Punchers do not throw bunches and bunches at the same speed. Holyfield may be the exception, he was good enough to beat you on activity, but could knock your lights out with beautiful combos.

The world champion doesn't hold the IBF title currently though
He can become a titleholder sure but the current champion only has the WBC belt

He is not a champ if he doesn`t beat Joshua or Fury.

Joshua and Fury will determine the king of division. Others can only be titleholders.

He looked good on heavybag and in sparring against wilder. That's all I can say as that's just about all I seen of him. Plus I saw him ko a A J opponent
