Regis was the more skilled fighter in the ring that day, although IMO he's more like a B+ than a B- in terms of raw talent (big fan of Rougarou both as an individual and a fighter) but Taylor had both a size advantage and just wanted it more... Taylor got some real spite in him and besides toughness and will can take a dude a long way, just look at Froch.

IDK man, I don't think Taylor's some elite level slickster or belongs at the top of the mythical P4P discussion but I also don't think that unifying or becoming undisputed in any division is to be sniffed at either. Doesn't need to be two master craftsmen going at it for me to enjoy the ebb and flow of action as one fighter tries to impose his will and skill on another. Not every fighter can be Floyd Mayweather Jr, man, and a big part of the fascination for me is seeing how different fighters get the most out of the attributes they have got.

Personally I'm really looking forward to the Ramirez fight... Got two dudes there who ain't gonna give an inch and whoever wins can rightfully claim to be the very best at their weight.

Personality wise I got a great deal of time for Ramirez who seems genuinely dedicated to supporting his community and on the other hand Taylor kinda rubs me the wrong way with some of his bullchit. Regis? Comes across as a pretty cool dude to me... I'd go for drink with him.

Nonetheless this is about who's best in the ring and I think that not only will Taylor beat Ramirez but also that Regis would if they ever fought... in fact I think Regis would beat him easier than Taylor who I see grinding out a really hard fought decision. IMO Styles matchup just favours Regis in that one, but time will tell I guess. Luckily we get to find out in a few weeks who's best between Taylor and Ramirez.

Yep.. I like Prograis. He's cool. That's my issue with him, because he's too cool and kinda lazy in the ring as well, no killer instinct.

The bold: Total respect for your opinions. The reason you rate him B+ is because you start from A+. I start from B+. It is my highest ranking for any current boxer. Some have a potential to separate themselves from the group and rise above B+.

I don't think 1hour does that to show he's getting hit. He was reflecting level of skills and sloppiness.

Before getting out of this thread, the guy who objects to belts being a dime a dozen, this is not an 'undisputed' fight. We can't be hypocrite sheep who blindly respond to the mood swings of Sulaiman the crook. You either recognize Haney as the real WBC champ at 135 or you don't recognize it in ANY division (not saying you don't recognize Haney, but a lot of posters flip flop at this point). Let's stay honest and consistent.

I personally don't recognize any belt.

I love your videos. If those punches from Postol and Prograis were coming from Davis, Taylor would be seeing stars. Gervonta is a body specialist, too, unless he doesn't need it, like in some recent fights. Both Postol and Prograis are semi-featherfisted compared to him. Taylor-Ramirez would be a good workmanlike fight.

Why doesn't he have too many UK fans? Because he's Scottish? He has more North American fans on this site than UK fans.

Many North-American's of European descent long for a different culture than what we presently have in America, its like they are sick of their fellow countrymen ; like Tyson Fury for example, the Gypsy-Bum vowed to never fight in the UK and shamed his fellow citizens for lack of support. Maybe Josh Taylor will never return home -- especially after Jose Ramirez batters him and takes his titles, the Irish/Scotts/English wont want to see his mug around.

I think he rubs many UK fans the wrong way, for whatever reason. I don't blame them. Also true that he gets more hype on NSB from white American fans. I don't really follow the 140 division that closely. It's a dud division.
