Darts yes but not snooker. It's only beacuse of the personalities and great atmosphere darts is so liked. Anything can happen in darts! Also due to it's extensive advertising it is well spectated and watched on TV. Something that boxing has not got. I watch the Las Vegas classic and if there was no Brits there, the room would be silent.
Boxing is dead in The UK.

What about your personal experiences?
Out of all the people you know, how many actually have a decent amount of knowledge of the sport?
Or how many go, ' Yea, dat was a sick KO ' and are only interested in that aspect of the sport. In which case, UFC offers that in abundance.Comment

Like I say if I havn't got time to come on Boxing Scene how will I ever know when it is?I mean this is just a phase we are going through. We had great people retiring a few years back like Lewis who were known world wide hence the attention.then Joe retiring and Hatton retiring and Witter doing rubbish. We havent had anyone taking their place yet so to expect the press to be covering boxing is expecting too much.
If however you call yourself a boxing fan and you dont know the channel showing Marquez then we might need to ask your definition of fanComment

Yeah, well next time you want to keep calling British/English fighters hypejobs you should realise what they have to go through to earn a decent wage.
Lets not forget how ridiculous the tax is. I think it's something like 50% of a boxers earnings gets taxed.Comment

Whenever there is a big boxing fight I get some friends coming over to watch the fight but then I might not be the best representative of the Brit Population. It's possible that my friends also happen to be boxing fans or are only interested in the popular fights. What about your personal experiences?
