They're in different weight classes in their primes. I think young Cotto was a little bit better than young Canelo, but Canelo's prime seems to be better than Cotto's.

Always was a big cotto fan but i cant really see a different outcome. Im shocked canelo didnt stop him especially when they fought. Canelo is just too fast and durable.

Cotto always felt like the better boxer to me but he was a lot more chinny in his lighter weights.

Cotto has better stamina & movement 'Their boxing skills are not levels apart, Cotto actually made it competitive with Mayweather'.

Canelo Alvarez has not improved since the Floyd Mayweather fight, he has gotten bigger 'And is fighting bigger and less skilled fighters'.

                Op Is crazy lol

Cotto while a fine fighter never got the prime Canelo he got him right when he was finding his weight. Still Canelo beat him comfortablly .

Absolute best versions Canelo stops prime Cotto.

cotto wasnt in his prime either, in fact he was never very good above 147. canelo would always win because hes bigger but i could see cotto beating the canelo from the trout and 152 pound floyd fights, but thats not prime canelo like you said. prime canelo was 160-168

Prime Cotto was 140-147. Prime Canelo is a super middleweight.
