Comments Thread For: Fury's Father on Joshua Fight: They Have No Date, No Venue, They Have Nothing

John Fury, father of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is not convinced that a deal has been struck for the unification with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world champion Anthony Joshua. Earlier this month, it was revealed that a deal had been reached for a Fury vs. Joshua unification - with both boxers signing their respective portions of the deal.

Are the Fury's having second thoughts due to Tyson's inactivity? Are Hearn and AJ purposely dragging their feet/delaying to get more of an advantage out of Fury's inactivity? Is this talk all tactical to get the other side to get on with it?

You know what, it doesn't matter. Everyone involved needs to shut up until the fight has been finalised and is officially on.

This is exactly what I have been informed about. That last TWO fights. Not that he is scared of AJ, but he wanted those fights or at least one of them as a free agent. Imagine the money he would make if the rematch was on his own as the boss!

Tyson, took a page from his spineless trailer-park-trash father, Gypsy-John : For the past year Tyson and Gypsy-John did nothing but yap away and duck Micky Theo and Deontay the 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder. Dillian Whyte fought twice on PPV, Anthony Joshua headlined and fought Kubrat Pulev in a arena during the COVID-19 global epidemic and actually made a defense of his titles -- something that the Gypsy-Bum knows nothing about. Who am I suppose to believe?!

'They have nothing' - So they haven't signed a deal, John? Luke and John Fury are such Prima donna's. This isn't even close to 'selling the fight'.

Fury could have picked ANYTHING in the world to show people that he's a bit 'inactive' but he HAD to talk about drinking 10-12 pints and post about a bottle of whiskey. If he's such an advocate of recovery and mental health, why is he regressing to the 'post-Wlad' Fury right after a deal announcement. If it quacks like a duck and it ****s like a duck...

So why is fury refusing to fight wilder? Just take that fight, Joshua can fight Usyk as well.

If they can‘t bring the fight over the line have AJ fight Usyk and Fury fight Wilder and the winners fight each other end of the year.
