Exactly! I'm not so sure that Canelo would be the underdog in that fight which also hurts.

Great? Absolutely none. Good: Jacobs, Cotto, Kovalev, Kirkland, Lopez, C. Smith, Cintron and Angulo. He got gifts against GGG 2x, Lara and arguably Trout.

                Zero.

Close fights with top guys are not great wins.

                  As for OP's question:

-Lara. Tough fight but Canelo won decisively. And coming into the fight Lara was practically undefeated as the Williams fight was a BAD robbery
-Austin trout. Undefeated champ and would later be a solid gatekeeper
-Cotto. Past his prime but still well accomplished and would at least get a paper title in his next fight. Lineal champ.
-GGG. The boogeyman who was expected to KO him but failed
-Kovalev. Jumped up 2 weight classes, and although past his prime, it was a TWO weight class jump. And he was still world champ.
GGG won both and the Kova fight was fixed before they stepped into the ring with weight clauses and everything else that went in there b4 the fight.

                      He doesn’t have any.

Trout should have been a draw.

Lara should have been a 117-111 loss.

GGG 1 should have been a 116-112 loss.

GGG 2 should have been a 115-113 loss.

Jacobs should have been a draw.

He was losing to Kovalev before he caught him.

His best win is Callum Smith. He dominated smith in a fashion that was comparable to John Ryder’s performance against Smith.
