As a COVID nurse, Pov had no business in the ring but I commend his courage & he honored his word by taking the rematch.
Pov & Berchelt are both examples of the lingering effect of the virus on the respiratory system.
BUT...
Maybe now we get Wilder vs Whyte.
The pre-fight build up alone will be awesome
The writing is on the wall. You and these other UK fanboys get over it. There is no Fury-AJ fight happening.Comment

i think this is the decisive face. he got hit high on the head in the first engagement and was ****ed after that. he was getting stunned by jabs later on. his head was scrambed.
covid definitely didnt help Pov thoughComment

I've seen more athletes suffer than not after recovering from Covid. There's been a handful that seem to have eventually returned to form but most seem to struggle for a while afterwards.
Then, it also impacts people differently but athletes in particular seem to suffer a lot.Comment

Well said. If this Sulaiman is not ranking and rating all fighters objectively as he should. He should have order the winner of the AJ vs Fury fight to face Whyte in the second haft of 2022. He is very unfair on Whyte, this guy has been the mandatory for years and instead of fighting the champion he's been ordered to fight elimination after elimination.Comment

Cannot argue with Sulaiman. Povetkin was a shell of a shell, a total non-event. Povetkin was on shaky legs even before the opening bell. Very disappointing after the drama of the first fight. Credit to Dillian though for putting those demons to bed.Comment

Whyte did what he had to do, but Povetkin looked shaky even at the weigh in. That's not Whytes fault, but he hasn't mauled anybody this bad since the Aussie bouncer. I'm sure Eddy will make him prove himself, again. On the cheap. Less is best.Comment

Povetkin didn't look great in the last fight either outside of that one big punch. He was down twice in the previous fight and Whyte was beating him. The only difference here is Povetkin didn't land a bail out punch this time. It's time for him to retire whether he had Covid-19 or not.

Scientists said that 80% of people still have lingering effects from COVID 5 monthes after recovery. Athletes which need every percentile of their abilities will definitely have a diminished results due to that, Povetking was shaky even without those glancing shots.Comment
