Yeah matchroom have a for a few years now insisted on testing for all major fights, I’m unclear what categorises as “major” / how low down the card they go though? But they are well ahead of any other promoting company in that regard at the moment, they have certainly led the way - similar to women boxing - and others are beginning to follow which is only a good thing

For years, after wrasslers from a bygone era, who did not have to look like giant androids, managed to entice fans with great acting (character development), great athletic skills, etc, we saw an era where wreslers were allowed to take what they wanted, often with disasterous consequences... We still see the residual health problems. Yet... who has the right to tell someone what they can and cannot do? Harm to self is a more nebulous concept than harm to others.... whether we, as a society acknowledge that, or not. Most thingswe do for glory, for personal gain harm us... Lol. We always have to ask: Would I like to live a life protected, fed only th healthiest food, no drugs no drugs... and no violence, and live to be 160? Or live a life of adventure, risk, etc and live half as long? I know which choice I would make... and who is to tell me I don't have such a choice? Its like a remark one of the adults I grew up with as a kid once told me: "You know.... I hate that they banned smoking on airplanes" to which I replied "But Ann, you do not even smoke!" to which she said "I know but I always sat in the smoking section because the people were so much more interesting."

Whyte has never failed a VADA test. Ever. Povetkin has failed 2 VADA tests for 2 different fights. But Whyte is the serial cheater ... ?

The only PED strike against Whyte is using a pre workout drink that should have been removed from sale by the supplier, because one of the ingredients had been put on the banned list. That was back in 2013 when he was still a novice pro.

For every dirty test that is leaked. There's probably 10 that are kept secret.
