    Claressa Shields vs Amanda Nunes

Shields is on the top of the woman's boxing world at the age of 24, she has already had a legendary career. Amanda Nunes is 8 years older and at 32 has reached the top of the MMA scene. Shields is already training MMA and is ready to learn a new sport, she is young enough to do it. Claressa joined the PFL and is ready to make her first appearance very soon.

Most fans will say Claressa wins in boxing and Nunes wins in MMA. The interesting thing is that Claressa Shields is going into Amanda's world. If Claressa can rack up some wins in MMA she will already of done something no boxing champion has ever done before.

Eventually if both woman continue to win the question will be asked can Claressa Shields take out the Lioness which is Amanda Nunes? What does the boxing scene think?

If she waits like 5 years or whatever learning the craft while Nunes gets old, maybe.

If it happened anytime soon? she'd get absolutely destroyed. Nunes is a BJJ black belt and judo brown belt.

As little as I've watched of MMA, Nunez is the striker type? Mostly on her feet, looking to box and get the knockout? Claressa might only need a little ground training for her. Claressa may actually have the ADVANTAGE if Nunez tries to box her. If it goes to the ground, the experience of Nunez could get Claressa annihilated...

Shes the striker type against people she can outstrike, she would fall back on her grappling if she needed to.

Tbf she knocked Holly Holm out on the feet quite easily too. I dont think the stand up would necessarily even be one sided, especially with kicks involved.

Other way around. Amanda Nunez is legendary, beating everyone. Claressa reach top of women's boxing. Amanda Nunes wins if submissions, wrestling, grappling are applied. Shields if punching goes throughout fight
