It's a very intriguing match up. We will get the usual salty nob heads citing JOSHUA V RUIZ 1 like its the only fight Joshua has ever had but they just morons who like to take a swipe at AJ any chance they can get.

Personally as a big Joshua fan my main worry is will Joshua be able to keep in range and work and do enough scoring work or is Fury going to keep beating him to the punch and then spinning out of range.

Its funny that Mayweather has joined Joshua's camp yet I imagine it being Fury who is going to be using the hit and run style of fighting in this one.

This fight has got 12 rounds written all over it and I struggle to see how Joshua is going to out work Fury no matter how hard he tries. This will resemble Fury v Klitchko more than Fury Wilder 2.

Pulev is old and doesn't have a single decorated opponent on his record. His fight with Joshua was an even worse repeat of his 2014 fight with Wlad.

        Pretty much.

I feel bad for hating on Joshua so much, but it just irks me watching Brits flop on their belly trying to convince us all that he is some ATG fighter when petty much no one sees it.

Its funny how people seemed to gloss over the fact that even Mark Breland doesn't rate Joshua at all...

DEONTAY WILDER’S axed coach Mark Breland has claimed that ‘I could beat Anthony Joshua’ – at the age of 57. Breland had been an assistant in Wilder’s corner up until t…

It could be jealousy, but as a fighter myself, I just don't see anything impressive about Joshua at all. Good size, competent boxing skill and combinations...but thats it. Movement, fluidity, gas tank and mindset are all lacking. I think he's a quintessential British product, hyped up mediocrity. Its not a one-dimensional straight line drag race machine like Wilder or a highly versatile, intruiging, German driving machine thats kinda unreliable...like Fury. Its kinda just there. Like a Vauxhall loooool.

We know he's old. But young guys like fury, and ch isora couldn't beat him. WLad was old so was povetkin.
If Josh can.beat ruiz, pulev, parker he has best chance to beat fury

Wow, so many people just hanging onto things. Joshua lost to Ruiz, Fury beat Klitschko better than Joshua blah blah blah...some many here are just so matter of fact, its cringe-worthy. I'm backing Joshua to lay Fury out but at least I have know the reality that Fury is a far superior boxer.

If Joshua wins, this forum will be so quiet. I'm going to love it.

Is there such a thing as a humble Fury fan!?

As I also keep saying, Joshua is the kind of guy who isn't threatening to mediocre people. I've never gone to a single fight gym and seen anyone hype themselves over him. It tends to be the sit at home beer drinker overweight types who laud him as this paragon of boxing. Kinda says it all.

Chisora has 8 losses on his record and is way out of his best. Hughie isn't exactly setting the world alight either. Both are c-level opponents.

That's because you only see him out of context. He would intimidate 99% of people out of the ring before the first bell and then 99% of the remaining 1% would get sparked out in the first round. There is a MASSIVE difference between saying you're a fighter and being an actual professional, top ranked heavyweight. I'm 6' 5", 17 stone, had boxing and MMA fights and I would rather fight Fury than Joshua. Any day of the week.

Mark Breland wouldn't last 1 round against Joshua. That's why he had to clarify that they'd need to be the same weight for his point to be valid. But which Heavyweight would be a good Welter or Middle?...the answer; None of them. Fury and Joshua would be nobodies if they were smaller than Cruiser. Its their size that makes them.

What the hell is this rubbish? Almost all competitive heavyweights are 6ft4+ and 220lbs+, none of this matters. This is about skill within the division, Joshua is lacking. Massively. If you can't see this then you were never a good or competent fighter. I see them in the context of being competitive heavyweights, the only context that matters. What the hell does intimidating people out of the ring have to do with whether Joshua has a good jab or movement? Brelands comments were in regards to the generally okay-ish standard of Joshua's boxing. Of course he's not saying he could literally rock up and beat a guy double his size. Jesus, the fact that I have to clarify that says a lot...

You were trying to validate your opinion because you were or are a 'fighter'.
So, because YOU were a fighter and YOU think Joshua is lacking, despite being on the verge of fighting for the UNDISPUTED Heavyweight title, I was an incompetent or not good enough fighter!? You honestly sound like a fool.

So, you see them as competitive heavyweights but the unified heavyweight is lacking in skill, despite having the best record in the division. And now you're saying Breland says Joshua is an okay standard despite literally having to backtrack because he said he would beat AJ - then corrected himself because it was about the size difference.

It does say a lot...about how terrible your post was. And probably that you have small man syndrome.
