How is he going to run out of opponents? There isn't a person alive who will say no to a canelo fight. if a pbc fighter can't fight on dazn for a canelo fight then they really need to get away from haymon asap. I understand promoters wanting to keep things in house but there are certain fights that goes out the window for. Canelo is one of them.

Golden Boy did not deliver. Canelo wants to fight and the opponents and belts that he wants are easier via Hearn. The landscape seems that way at this moment. Any fighter that says no to a Canelo fight should be mentally checked but the promoters have a tendency to interfere. I don't care either way, as long as he fights high level fighters I could not care less who he is with. He already showed that if things don't go his way he has the power to walk away and look else where.

Honestly, if Canelo likes Hearn promoting his shows and they have a good repertoire, then why not? He's big enough to not sign with anyone but if this is what he wants, then more power to him!

Very clever of DAZN to not approve opponents for Canelo, then use the resulting rift to steal him away from Golden Boy Promotions.

            Very clever indeed.

The plan is for both sides to present an offer (DAZN and FOX) and they’ve agreed whichever offer they deem more attractive, they’ll proceed with. If it’s DAZN, Hearn will be the lead promoter with PBC acting as a co-promoter. If it’s FOX, then PBC will lead the promotion with Hearn co-promoter.
PBC ain't letting plant fight on dazn no way in hell.

Probably same arrangement as Mikey. Could happen.

Yeah, I imagine Canelo will keep doing 1 to 2 fight deals. It almost sounds like Hearn will act as a manager or advisor when Canelo wants to fight somebody that he can't on DAZN. I am curious to what happens if Canelo beats Saunders and Plant. There are still plenty of options, but no obvious guys. Will be very interested to see what direction he heads after unifying

Also wanted to add that I don't think Eddie really has any say at all in opponent's, Canelo is in full control and Hearn is just along for the ride waving the palm frond in his face
