How is he going to run out of opponents? There isn't a person alive who will say no to a canelo fight. if a pbc fighter can't fight on dazn for a canelo fight then they really need to get away from haymon asap. I understand promoters wanting to keep things in house but there are certain fights that goes out the window for. Canelo is one of them.

Considering PBC blocked $100 million deal for Wilder to go to DAZN, convinced him to take much less to stay and fight a better fighter and lose... then I wouldn’t have much confidence that it’s so easy for other PBC fighters to just hop over to DAZN for a big fight.

Lou DiBella was forced out of Team Wilder for doing the work to present him with a $100m from DAZN deal because PBC weren’t happy about it.

PBC don’t seem to put their fighters first a lot of the time.

That said, Wilder was one of the biggest names and Hw champ at the time, and it wouldn’t be a good look for them if he jumped over to DAZN, they would look weak. It’s probably a bit easier for a lesser name fighter

Agreed 100%. Unless Plant is a free agent like Mikey Garcia was. I don’t see it happening at all. The same PBC that wouldn’t let Wilder and Charlo fight on DAZN for 5/6 times their biggest paydays.

Also wanted to add that I don't think Eddie really has any say at all in opponent's, Canelo is in full control and Hearn is just along for the ride waving the palm frond in his face

Yep, Eddie Reynoso and Canelo are in full control in terms of who they fight. Negotiations would be conducted by Hearn on their behalf, feedbacks etc and they Eddie and Canelo would decide what is been offered to who and when etc..
