Eddy will match him soft at first, for a sure profit. Then, if the profit is big enough, he'll feed him pablum forever. If Canelo gets beat, it won't be Eddy's fault. That's what makes Eddy watchable. He'll show up with a sacrificial lamb and it turns into a nightmare. Upset of the year stuff, spit your tea out spectacle. AJ v Andy 1, Whyte v Povetkin, Warrington v Lara, I could go on, and the robberies and skulldugery, it's like the old time movies.

Well Canelo is the big fish in the ocean, no doubt about it! It would seem obvious that many more boxers will follow suit, either to try and fight Nelo, or just get on the same platform for the exposure. For Fast Eddie it's a win win situation no doubt.

Boxing Worldwide (@boxing_worldwide1) posted this first (on Instagram). Supreme Boxing then reposted it. Great move by Canelo. Hearn is a fantastic promoter, no fighter he works with ever has an issue with him, he pays them excellently, and he regularly makes the fights the fans want - as shown just this past weekend with Estrada-Chocolatito 2!
