That is wildly inaccurate.. Yildirim was the mandatory for the WBC long before Canelo was going to fight for it. Stop making BS up.

True but in addition to his negotiated pay for the fight, Estrada received a gift.

That poster is always trying to make things up and he never rebutted the WBC situation when chronological disclosure was given.

when Benavidez was stripped of his title, less than a week later The Athletic (with Pugmire always hating on Oscar and Canelo) as well as other sites, stated that Canelo “requested” in quotes knowing what their agenda was. They quoted it because they know it wasn’t sure or (they knew acting ******) just to make Canelo look to take a dumb fight.

        here are the facts.

1.) The Athletic trollled industry about the Canelo vs GBP fallout. Much of the context revolved around industry talking about Canelo vs GGG 3, the love that Pugmire has for Gennadiy, and how Canelo wasn’t interested in the trilogy - which meant Betchmire was acting soft for his love in GGG. So this was exploited.

2.) Later in 2020 we more than learned the collision in GBP, DAZN and Matchroom wanting GGG 3 but with Canelo not knowing of this expectation.

3.) This confusion created a domino effect for approvals for Canelo. Hence why Canelo didn’t get the fights he wanted even before COVID.

4.) Benavidez was stripped on August 14. The following week we learn the “plan” from the WBC. We learned, industry and fans, of the Franchise Perk. GBP and Canelo were given the opportunity to INQUIRE about the NEWLY Vacant WBC strip. Why wouldn’t they inquire? GBP was running out of time with Canelo getting frustrated for no fight. GBP sending offers to Callum Smith predated months before Benavidez lost his belt, and yes, fans forget that was the WBA. It was even reported that Hearn wanted to exercise Smith’s WBC Diamond status for the vacant shot. No matter how anyone spins it, Canelo would’ve been bound to fight Smith if all parties were in agreement. Meaning, “fight Yildirim, winner has to face WBC Diamond, Smith.” I’m sure Canelo would’ve been on board.

5.) with Canelo still not having a date mid year 2020, he takes DAZN and GBP into legal action.

6.) For some weird reason, Haymon was shelled out from GBP vs Matchroom business. Or perhaps Haymon had Yildirim to agree to another step aside for allowing Canelo vs Smith.

fans need to wonder what happened between Sulaiman and Haymon. It is the strap that Haymon needed should Yildirim have won it, then I’m sure Jermall Charlo would’ve been eligible for it moving up, Benavidez.

at the end of the day, the consistency makes sense given all the events that have happened with Canelo insisting to fight in 2020. He got Smith out of the way. It was due diligence to have honored Yildirim’s shot. Canelo haters will spin it all. They can’t refute this.

What's really sad is hearing that even dancing with Canelo, Yildirim made way less than Crawford's guaranteed $4 million to lose 4 rounds to the ghost of Kell Brook.
The Saunders fight probably will sell.If Saunders is allowed to be himself. But the PC censors are already trying to close him down.Dont get me wrong ,cant stand him,but Mexican fans can hate on a guy like no others, and Saunders is the man for that.Remember Greg Haugen?

Problem is Canelo refusing to speak English. It works better when both sides are smacking.

Ben Asken bout to make more than that whole card in his pro debut. It's a asses in seats, eyes on the screen sport. It's about attention & even further than that casual fan attention & if possible people that don't even gaf about boxing if possible attention.

Bro, I was at both of Estrada vs Choco fights and put it this way both were close fights and either one couldv'e gone either way. There wasn't any gifts or robberies both fights had multiple rounds that couldv'e gone either way.
