I meant as soon as he got stopped he wasn't. Many top P4Ps have lost and I can't think of one that was suddenly no longer on any lists like he was.

Who isn't going to struggle vs Estrada, Cuadras & Rungvisai? Everyone has struggles/losses if they fight the guys they are supposed to which he has.
Those guys are true elite level not paper titlists or just bordering world class.

And you gotta love that unlike all the other bull**** in boxing, these guys all fight each other no ducking, no questions asked, 1, 2, now hopefully 3 times. Chocolatito 1-1 against Estrada, 0-2 against SRR, Estrada 1-1 against SRR and 2-0 against Cuadras, SRR and Gonzalez both fought Cuadras. These are all good competitive fights except the second Gonzalez vs SRR fight.

I also find it disgusting how Gonzalez fought that entire first SSR fight with multiple intentional headbuts, blood gushing down his face the entire fight, yet he still managed to fight his way back in it an dominate at least 4-5 of the remaining rounds. Came forward for 11 more rounds, always brought the fight to SRR, and was competitive the whole way though. I had him winning but that doesn't matter. He should get so much more credit for that fight, but all anyone does is talk about how he lost. I can't think of many other fighters in the sport who wouldn't have folded in that situation.

Exactly, this is why we need the big fights in boxing too happen.
Like you say Chocolatito can arguably beat Estrada twice and Estrada can beat SRR twice yet Chocolatito losses to SRR twice. More proof that triangle theories don't work in boxing.
I see a lot of fighters using this sort of logic to avoid fights also. ''Oh I beat this guy in better fashion'', ''I beat him who beat so & so''.
We really do need more fighters like these that dare to be great and fight all the top fighters & stop wasting their careers trying to preserve their '0'.
I think its hurts their careers more than anything cause they eventually lose then suddenly they're calling for the fights they should have prior but now the other fighters saying F.U you was acting like I was so beneath you before.

How in the hell can being screwed on the scorecards be a blessing in disguise? Especially a high profile fight at Romans age.

I said maybe I didn't say it was. I said if there's any good to come out of it, it means he doesn't have to fight SRR, maybe Estrada can take out SRR, Gonzalez can get some good rest, and then he can finally get the win he deserves against Estrada in the trilogy. If he had went straight to the SRR fight after a war with Estrada I worry he'd get brutally KOd again.

Please list which 7 rounds you had Estrada winning.

Being a Crawford fan, you don't understand a true champions mentality. I'm certain Gonzalez would welcome a third SRR fight and I pretty certain he'd win it.

Of course I know that I just don't want to see him get hurt. Obviously the best case scenario is him not getting robbed last night and getting the rematch with SRR (I thought he won't the first fight pretty easily). I'm just trying to find some good in what was which I agree with you a really ****ty screw job.
