  • Comments Thread For: Arum To Angry Fans Demanding Fury-Joshua Deal: Go F--- Yourself, Find a Life!

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum on Saturday chalked up heavyweight champion Tyson Fury's recent comments that downplayed there being a deal agreed to for an undisputed title fight with unified titlist Anthony Joshua as being due to his frustration.

Arum is such an angry old b***tard these days.

Bob, Eddie, Fury, AJ and whoever else is involved need to stop talking about the deal and instead focus their energies on completing the deal. All the fans wanna see is less talk and more action.

Why not have it in Texas, I think that governor is fantastic opening up. It's a very bad flu, we live with viruses every day. Get back to life. Maybe that vaccine is making Bob nutty. Take at own risk.

We should all boycott arum fights for making that statement to boxing fans.

People from Texas are dumb as hell. The fight that was on last night was in Texas and they were limiting crowds, as they should.

First time Arum has made perfect sense in a long while. The drive to make such a big fight from those involved in putting it together is primarily the money to be made. The uncertainty of covid means it's tricky to firm up the fight, unless everyone involves decides to forego the megabucks, which isn't going to happen.

                Joshua/Fury: Nothing yet, just wait.

                Usyk/Joyce: Nothing yet, just wait.

Wilder next fight: Nothing yet, just wait.

Ortiz, Chisora, Kownacki, and DuBois: Nothing yet, just wait.

I do not really want to live in a world where Whyte/Povetkin and Ruiz/Arreola are the top official HW bouts.

My advise to Fury is to dump Arum. He is the sole reason this fight isn't happening. He's filled everyone's mind with riches that aren't realistic. Now he's got turd breath. Talking the way his is. Disrespecting the Gov of Texas. It's no wonder all his fighters are in a knot. He needs to go to an old folks home where he can cheat at rummy games and such.

Bob mentioned the revenue of the fight coming from U.K. ppv sales....he doesn’t mention any revenue from the USA lol. Speaks volumes....I can remember a time that no sports fan in the USA missed Naseem Hamed fights and no dedicated boxing fan missed a Lewis fight, or a Bruno vs McCall, or a Benn fight etc etc.
