The 9-3 card screwed Estrada as well. People would grumble about him getting a 7-5 SD. But there's some argument for that outcome. 9-3 means people will just remember it as Gonzalez getting robbed.

Exactly!!! But I’m seeing quite a few racists comments as well so I’m sure anything less then Estrada losing 13 rounds to 2 those clowns would still be CRYING

I got no particular love for Barry Hearts boy but I'm much more inclined to view this more as being another bad decision associated with the WBC and a Mexican fighter.

Damn, I guess that had Estrada winning before the fight. Roman had this 7-5 to me, no robbery but the wrong man won.

Big Estrada fan and I wanted him to win but Chocolatito won that fight it was competitive just like the first but he landed more and was putting constant pressure. Gallo looked a little flat but it's no excuse he got the victory in the end and now there is a trilogy in the works but 9-3 is absurd and Roman should have won.

Every article and boxing site I go to says INSTANT CLASSIC!! I saw the fight 115-113 either way... I cared not who won just that it was a GREAT fight.

I had Gonzalez winning but yes you can. There was a tactic Gonzalez was using where he would use his hard chin for defense for the majority of the round, biding his time. Then he attempts to steal the round in the last minute. These rounds could’ve easily been given to Estrada.

Another thing is, there were clearly very close rounds throughout the entire fight. Both fighters were frustrating to watch for me because one would land a good combination to the other, and it would look like they were about to take over the fight. But then after they land the combination, they would damn near stick their chin out and tell the other guy “Come on, your turn. You hit me now”. And it was like this pretty much all 12 rounds. No one really took over any round. Each of them did get like 2-3 clear rounds but the other rounds just looked like they were having fun jus taking turns hitting eachother. There was also very little to no blocking punches on either side. Both guys were using their faces to block.

With that said I did have Gonzalez winning 7-5. Estrada gave away some rounds, idk if it was due to fatigue or just not knowing how to block punches but Gonzalez took over for like 2 rounds clearly, and those were the two rounds that set him apart from Estrada.

Estrada, Chocolatito, Sor, great division. Ancajas should also fight these guys.

Naoya Inoue should have been in the mix too.

Instead he chose to completely skip fighting any of these guys.

Great fight. I have no issues with Estrada winning, even though I thought Chocolatito edge it.

Fight was close. Would love a third fight.
