It does. You recognized the value of greatness, independently from being a fan of either one.

Incidentally, now Hearns will be in trouble after revealing that Hagler died for the consequences of vaccination...

    • I also find it interesting that pretty much everyone whose anyone in boxing has offered their condolences or tweeted about Hagler......Bar Sugar Ray Leonard.

      His silence is deafening.

I know they didn't get on before, during and after their fight in 87 but even Ali and Frazier kinda put their beef to one side before they met the big man in the sky.

      • Marvelous Marvin was the best pure middleweight boxer I have ever seen and I’ve been following boxing for over 50 years. He was a relentless puncher in the ring and had a granite chin and really had the attitude of refuse to lose. I vividly remember the disgraceful behavior of British fans after he destroyed Alan Minter to win the title My all-time favorite fighter. A true boxing legend.

              • Damn this one is tough. It’s like losing a family member. The true definition of a champion. They just don’t make them like that anymore. Rest well champ one of the best to ever do it!

Yeah he had a great chin. I never saw him even wobbled by a punch. Never. But I hoped he would have moved up and fought Mike Spinks. That would have been a great fight.

Nobody owes you public proof of grief.

That right there is the real issue with social media.

Same thing people did to Shatner when he didn't immediately say something about Nimoy.

It's BS. Stop doing that. They don't owe you anything.

If we are a civilized society, we won't try to cancel a legend for stating a fact.

Instead, we SHOULD open an investigation to know exactly what those complications were.

If there were comorbidities, they should share what they were.

If there weren't, it means the vaccine had risk factors they overlooked, and they should work to identify them.

But they won't do any of the above, because it would be admitting they rushed it before it was ready.
